It's not like the first thing that comes up googling a porn star is ***. I didn't recognize her name and still had to go through some clicks to hit pay dirt.

I also don't think people should hang out on their front stoop because that's how the riff raft traffics the marijuanas.

Sometimes I design affordable housing for a living, but I secretly espouse a Ron Swanson attitude towards it the whole time. I’m sure everyone on the team “gets it” but nobody ever teases out my stance as the entire Jenga tower of office floor dynamics would collapse.

“New studies show that developers are turning more and more to affordable housing because the rent is more reliable and there is less turnover...” - “Yeah, I tend to pay my taxes very regularly, I could see how that would translate to more consistent rents being paid to the developers with taxpayer dollars. And I could see the turnover being low since moving out would mean actually paying for a place to live. BTW, how much did we pay for access to this research, bossman?”

Looking ahead, curious how the NCAA-T Selection Committee will justify giving the Zags a 1-seed this year, especially with the "Quandrant" system. Based on the current NCAA NET rankings, if Gonzaga wins out (which they will because the WCC is awful), they will have played a total of 12 Quandrant 1 and 2 games all season (most of which coming in OOC schedule). They will have also played 11 Quadrant 4 games. KenPom has Gonzaga sitting with a 122 SoS....:eyes:

By comparison, Kentucky has 11 Quandrant 1 and Quandrant 2 games remaining on our schedule --- we've already played 11. Same could be said for most of the other Top 5 teams. Let's assume a Power 5 team goes 17-5 in Quadrant 1 and 2 games (28-5 overall), vs Gonzaga going 9-2 (29-2 overall) ---> who gets the 1 seed?

Why we read this [thumb2]

- My incredible yet awful Apex jacket is 5-0. Citrus Bowl Champion, UL, UNC, Auburn, KU. Not a bad resume. Will be making another appearance for the UT game.

- Gambino’s was a front. As was Avio. Christ some of the nonsense that went on in those bars, can only imagine what was really going on that all of campus didn’t know about.

- Tried to get Cane’s for “breakfast” on the way home Sunday morning but got shot down. Criminal.

- Obviously been that way for a few years, but south campus is damn near unrecognizable. Proud K Tower alum.

- Ran over a mile for the first time since fall. Damn. Hurting. Getting old (and fat) kinda sucks. Can’t have a fall/winter of cold domestos and bourbon at will anymore.

- Carson’s post game was quite good. Ribeye cooked to perfection, great service and atmosphere. c_b thumbs up.

Nice, should have pregamed the Hyatt. We were doing some fun stuff.

I mean, I try to enjoy the Bachelor, but these girls aren’t that interesting.

Heading to DC next week. Hopefully it’s not frozen.

Last night it was decided that Old Carter> Ky Owl.

Want to see this Effron/Ted Bundy movie.

Joel just has that look on his face.

He always looks like someone just tossed him a Rubic’s cube and said his dog would die if he didn’t solve it in 2 minutes.

-The struggle is real fellas, it’s 53 right now which I’m pretty positive is the coldest it’s been in the almost 7 years I’ve been here. Scooter rides are a REAL challenge right now.

-DD’d for a rented party bus tonight for one of my best buds gfs birthdays tonight. Shewee, that was a rough 30 minute drive home. They wouldn’t let me pay for an amazing dinner so worth it.

* Coming back home in two weeks. Sooooo…….who gots an extra for the Tennessee game??

* Dad loaned me a highly recommended book -- Tucker Carlson's Ship of Fools. It's pretty predictable. Lots of things I agree with, plenty I don't, and mostly everything is simultaneously oversimplified and blown out of proportion. It's whatevs. But the worst part about agreeing to read this is the uninvited can of worms it will open up next time we sit down at the dinner table.

"so, son…..what did you think?!"

This is how a 70 year-old man trolls.

* Gonna get pretty cold overnight, but mostly 50-70 as far as Siri is showing.

* We outrebounded Vandy 38-21 two weeks ago, because of course they're a bunch of rich kid pansies. They've got one chance, and we all know it -- go bonkers from behind the 3-point line. That's it. Should be an easy win.

* Speaking of easy wins, the Warriors are on fire right now. 11 in a row, including a 32-point win over the Pacers last night, and it's all taking place just as Boogie Cousins is getting back into the lineup.

* Anthony Davis trade --> I just hope he isn't one of those superstars that insist on playing in a major media market. Absolutely grinds my gears that the hapless, pathetic New York Knicks are mentioned as a landing spot for like every single big name trade/free agent ever. Why?? They SUCK. ESPN had an article yesterday listing the Pel's top trade targets, and had the Nuggets on there with a pretty attractive offer. Now that would be a fun team to watch.

* "Angela White has no ***." Mashburned is a black man, indeed. It's confirmed.

Lebron is great, but he and his crew basically just run franchises at their whim and usually leave a path of destruction in their wake. I’m not sure if I’m AD I want to sign up for that. He’s got a much longer run in his prime than Lebron.

Can't wait for AD to transform himself into a glorified role player surrounded by scrubs who can shoot 3s so Lebron can run his offense.

Then, when they don't beat the Warriors, everyone can talk about AD's mysterious regression and why it's kinda crazy Lebron even got that team to the playoffs because his GM gave him a roster of one other superstar and a bunch of 40 year old shooters.

I don't know who this is and only saw it because Greg(g) Doyel retweeted it, but it's a perfect representation of modern journalism. Your reporting only costs $3 a month and people still don't want to pay for it, that's a pretty good reason to get laid off.

No one wants to pay for the news so newspapers need to adapt. I don't plan on subscribing to The Athletic but it seems like they've figured it out because there's been multiple times I've seen a Kyle Tucker story and thought, "man, that sounds interesting."

Kyrie Irving got life time fame and a title with LeBron, and things worked out fine for Chris Bosh. The Lakers are also historically a greatly run franchise so I’m sure he’ll be fine being in LA if that’s where he chooses, infinitely better than NO anyway.

And why in the hell would you, if in your twenties, pursue the career of a newspaper journalist whether it be digital or paper?? Do people not even look at the outlook and prospects when choosing a profession now? At some point you need to realize you can’t just choose “this would be a fun job I think” for a profession and actually do due diligence and pick a good career or your bitching will fall on deaf ears.

Given your lack of understanding/knowledge in the social and political climate, this is probably the most predictable thing ever.
