I haven't watched them play but assuming they don't play like Mark Fox's Georgia.

I'm sure they don't, but they still have his players. Was more of a general comment about him being a steady force against an SEC slate that typically involves the mediocre teams mucking it up with us (like Vandy did).

For as weird as he is Tom Crean actually plays a pretty entertaining up and down style, which will be pretty refreshing most years.

Haven’t noticed all that much officiating tomfoolery in our games so far this year- besides the usual bastardization of the charge call.

And getting a hard on for needlessly going to the monitor at every opportunity so they get TV time and slow the game to a crawl.

That's lovely.

If there was a sport that really does NOT need cleaning up, it's college basketball. When is the last time a Kentucky basketball player got into a legit fight?? Like, more than just the usual pushing, shoving, and chest puffing?

And yet here these asshats are, jacking off the scorer's table monitors after even the slightest act of aggression like they're preventing an all out prison yard gang fight or something.

Basketball players are the biggest pussies in sports. The smallest twinge of pain and their writhing around on the floor like they’ve been shot.

Dear Chase,

soccer.

-drippingvagina

Partially true. They’re the biggest floppers for sure. But most of these basketball players legitimately think they’re dying for the first 3 minutes. The soccer players are mostly faking it from the start.

And the inevitable "Hey man, no worries, glad we worked it out like adults. Just sent you a DM!"

That is my sportswriter hatboggan by a damn mile:

Instigate a petty *** twitter slap fight with another sports writer/fan
Subtweet and maybe even tease a juicy bit of gossip about the other person
Make up almost immediately
Castigate other twitter users for "turning it into something it wasn't."

^Dude is going to be marketing gold if he can make it. How long until that swing is all over munis?

So UNC gets *** raped by a mediocre Louisville team and drops 1 spot.

:joy:

-They really need to pick it up, they're killing one of our quality wins.

-Harden is ok on twitter but his take was dumb and he routinely has "old man yelling at clouds" syndrome.

Quarters instead of halves.

No one and done, but if you go to college, 2 year minimum.

2 exhibitions each year against D League teams to start the season.

Widen the lane, enlarge the charge circle.

SECT title game on Saturday night.

6 fouls to DQ. Team fouls reset after each quarter.

Fixed.

  • I like your list, but half of those things require the NBA to change.
  • Didn't the SEC do 6 fouls for league games like in 1990 or something?
  • I'd prefer them to go to a 48-minute clock and do fouls, TV timeouts, etc. like they do in the NBA

10 quarters 4 minutes each ending with a tv timeout.

6 personal fouls but they reset at the end of each quarter. Team unlimited.

All you can timeout, timeouts. Won't really affect UK

No shot clock

Add a 4 point line
