Large Dominos pizza for $8. Short walk from my house. Carry out. Ready in about 10-15 minutes.

Judge all you want, but that’s a great Sunday night meal.

I stand by the average statement. They didn’t even make the playoffs. It’s the Patriots, and that is comparable to us going 20-10 and missing the tourney.

You’d be happy though I guess!
You're a complete moron. The average NFL team loses their starting QB, even an average one, much less the guy a lot of people consider the GOAT, they are getting a top 10 draft pick, not going 11-5. It's alright to shut up when you have no idea what you're talking about.

- I can’t even wrap my head around Brady/Belichick’s reign. Their first Super Bowl happened two months after I graduated college. That’s a lifetime ago.

- I really wish the SEC would stop scheduling these crap games on Saturday night. The big ones like Aubu- yeah, but spending my Saturday night watching an under 120 point crapfest sucks. Could’ve gone out to dinner with my wife.

- These NBA statlines are ridiculous.

- Speaking of, just a reminder that 3 teams passed on Luka Doncic. That dude is amazing and not even 20 yet. Wish we could be watching him with Fox or Booker right now.

Ok 11-5 is fantastic!

Sure it’s only the 2nd time in Belichik’s tenure that the Pats didn’t make the playoffs, in 2 decades!

Not to mention it’s the 3rd worst record(in 18 seasons) they have had in his tenure as well.

But I get it, a bunch of Bengal fans get all starry eyed at 11-5 and can’t see that as a down year for a truly great team.

I concede so this place isn’t ruined today.

If a tree falls in the forest, and it lands on UKO, and no one else is there to see the tree fall, or hear UKO's screams...
...would your elation that he posted his last post in GYERO outweigh the disappointment that you couldn't be there to see the tree fall on him in person?

The Dolphins won the division that year with the same record (11-5) and had the tiebreaker. I guess they had an "average" year too? Only two 11-5 teams have failed to make the playoffs. Sounds more like bad luck than bad coaching or whatever you are arguing.

-Love what we're getting out of Quickley these days, perfect guy off the bench. Same for Richards, he's been giving us good minutes, I just wish he would pair Richards with Travis but he seems stuck on sticking him with Washington.

-I'll say this for Mags' Herro take that I disagreed with, when he makes a bad pass, it's a really bad pass. To his credit Travis has been awful at sealing off these SEC defenders though.

-Who Dat, baby!! Videos of all those crazy cajuns dancing in the street with cops and such are great.

-Teams ranked 10-25, got obliterated this last week. Just keep winning and gradually getting better. Could be similar to last year where everyone beats up on each other.

-Is UNC going to make the tourney?

-Our HC and front court tandem better get their heads out of their asses before we play UT. That's for sure.

-Saturday night we ended up hanging out with Orlando Early, played ball at Gardner Webb, former asst under Gottfried, HC at Lou-Mon for a few years and now scout for the Grizzlies. Cool guy, could tell he was a little sour on the BBN, I get that, but had some good stories nonetheless. Was really big on the Mega Bemax team, said he was there to scout them specifically and he was surprised we waxed them. Can we please get back to that?

-Talk about a change, I used to hang out in bars 3 nights a week, and now I can't stand it. Sports bar during the day watching games and drinking beer is fine but walking in a college bar at midnight? No f*cking thanks.

-Sounds like we've moved into the "team to beat" assumption with McDaniels. I love his game.

-Picking a different tandem to critique would be a better play.

-Yeah, UKO sure had a lot to say, especially regarding UK, for a guy who's (experienced) team got BLOWN OUT by the Cards at home, and has really looked like *** the entire season except for one game vs Gonzaga.

-People were really down on PJ/Reid points on Saturday, but when you score 56 points there really isn't much to go around. To their credit, at least they didn't let it affect the rest of their game -- combined for 20 boards.

-We're not the only team w/ youngins missing shots, in fact it's basically the NORM: Other notable 5* frosh from 3:

Tre Jones - 29%
RJ Barrett - 33%
Zion Williamson - 28%
Cam Reddish - 35% (way worse until recent flurry)
Romeo Langford - 25%
Nassir Little - 20%
Coby White - 34%
Quentin Grimes - 29%
Kevin Porter Jr - 18%

^ every one of those guys except for Tre & Coby are Lotto picks. Ugh

Keldon (39%), Quickley (38%), and Herro (33%) are actually above average compared to their 5* freshman guard/wing peers. Not ideal of course, just some perspective.

-I'd argue Reid Travis has been a *bit* of a disappointment overall, but he's going to be fine - he is what he is. The other "can't miss" transfer, Joe Cremo, though...man, he's been AWFUL. Between he & Quinnerly, Nova has gotten essentially nothing out of their two highest profile incoming guys.

-Finally got to Fat Lamb Saturday night for dinner. Couldn't stay away from the burger, which was as good as it looked. Easily Top 3 in town. Cool little place.

-Was excited to watch "Valley of the Boom" on NatGEO last night -- 6 part series focused on web browsers (Netscape) and how they transformed/introduced the internet back in the early 90s....until I realized it's one of those Docs that integrates those cheesy "re-enactments" throughout. Ugh, nothing can ruin a good idea quicker, imo. Too bad.

-Luka :flushed:

-Tulsi Gabbard could definitely get it.

I don’t disagree, but Belichik was average before Brady, and the years Brady has gotten hurt the pats have been average.

Underrated ignorance of this post....

“....and the years Brady has gotten hurt...”

He’s started 16 games a season since he won the job in 2001, with the exception of:

2008 (injury)
2016 (suspension)

So, which other YEARS are you referring to that he got hurt?

Agreed. No desire.

Didn’t really understand why we left KsBar for tin roof, marked step down.

Check the other year in 2 decade reign that they didn’t make the playoffs. Sure Brady played through the pain, but again 9-7 finish and no playoffs due to tiebreakers.

My original post was it is hard to believe at this point they are the long shot underdog and then I made the mistake of listing it as Brady/Belichik.

Someone chimed in that they think it’s more Belichik than Brady. Then I made the post you referenced.

I’d love to drop this and let those much better at posting here do their thing.

You win. 11-5 is in fact fantastic.

Playoffs? What playoffs!!

One good thing about the doldrums of the SEC slog and our inevitable frustrating January and February...

... we play that buttcut-haircut goober Tom Crean tomorrow.

Hope we kill them. Sucks that Calipari seems to be friends with that autistic goofball.
