Pretty awesome to see Hagans go 10 for 11 from the charity stripe, in addition to a great game on both ends of the floor. Dude is turning into an animal before our eyes.

Both squads shot better than 90% on free throws last night and there were only three total free throws missed in the entire game. I'm not sure I've ever seen both teams shoot that well at the line in the same game before.

- Johnson’s easily been our best, most consistent player. He had a bad game. I like the way he plays- want him to shoot more actually.

- For all his issues beyond the arc, Hagans FT stroke is outstanding and his pull-up game is getting better.

- What happened to the high-low game with Washington and Travis?

- I must have missed it- where did this Catsby90 **** come from? Abd why are people still flashing 3goggles? tia

Love Jones but frankly the KSR fanbase is a bit below me. I don’t see the Catsby90 hashtag used by anyone I’d talk hoops with- that’s for sure.

I only mentioned KSR because it's mostly used by college students. Not listening to KSR doesn't excuse you from not knowing who John Short is.

F off, cricket. How the hell else would I know him then?

Not everyone is as tuned into the teenage set, MFer.

John Short has been calling into pre-game radio shows since the 80's. And it's Bigguns and not Cats by 90.

-I wish John Short well but I really just do not care. I feel that way about most all UK media at this point though tbh. My advice is to watch the games and think for yourself. Original thought is a lost practice in the fanbase which is a shame and partly why I get so frustrated at the blog nerds and their FAN POLICE crusades. F outta here. What's made UK great is the colorful, sometimes untethered from reality fanbase... quit with the shepherding.

-The unedited version of Jessica is perhaps the finest piece of American music ever composed.

-Last drink was a bourbon at 12:30 am New Year's Day. I don't see this abstinence surviving the weekend.

-Christmas tree taken down last night. A little later than I wanted but The Epiphany and what not.

-At what point (or kid) did some of your wives move to part time (or stay at home)? Any sage advice from gyero's elders? Guess she's going the part time route with this second one. I mean, it'll be nice to have her cover much of the familial responsibilities, but damn. Life comes at you pretty fast, I guess.

-Just curious, I was perusing some of the recently built palatial luxury homes in east Louisville last night online. Who TF are these people and what do they do for a living? These things are palaces. Is there oil underneath us? Are we a train ride from Wall Street? Good grief...

-LOVE Saturday's classic January forecast. Enjoy, winterballs.

That said, teams are shooting out their *** against us. Our D isn’t great but we’re seeing some ********. Hopefully, it evens out as the season plays out.

KenPom did a pretty deep analysis and couple years back about “3-point defense” and that it basically was a farce. IIRC, he basically stated that the best way to play three point defense is to simply prevent teams from taking them. It was a pretty in-depth analysis about contested vs non-contested shots, etc.

Long story long, in this day and age it’s best to prevent 3PA.

Just looked up those blogs, damn. Too lazy to link but sheeeeeit are they in-depth and boring.

Took my oldest to see his friends play bball last night. I don't know when in the **** 6th graders started pulling Eurosteps out of their asses and decided to be as tall as grown-*** men, but it was an eye opener.

-if you can swing it, part time working mom is great. Shes bringing in some cash/keeping a toe in the workplace...and taking care of 75% of household/child issues. Make sure there is communication about domestic expectations of Dad. Don't be a dick...but shes gonna have to take the lead w/ kids and house.

Part-time is ideal, stay at home not so much. Less actually gets done unless she's really organized . It's probably human nature though, I get a lot more done when I think I don't have time vs.having time off and thinking I've got all the time in the world.
