I have the perfect position in the ever long gyero debate of pool vs beach. While still technically in the pool area, posted up in the front tow with scenic view of beach and bay.

You can drop in the nearest edge of the fairway if you so choose, no closer to the hole. This may or may not be an advantage depending on the layout of the hole.
- It's a great rule for beginners who can't hit the fairway to save their lives.
- It's a pointless rule for stud golfers because they'll almost always be better off going off the tee.
- It's a terrible rule for people like me who smoke drives down the fairway 55% of the time, yet yank one OB 15% of the time. I'll always be second guessing myself when I go back to the tee causing me to yank another out of bounds. Plus it makes you look like a puss if you don't go back to the tee.
^Gotta be pretty rare for any decent golfer to arrive at there ball and be caught off guard that it's OB.
