Poor Reid Travis out there just making us worse.
We are so much better when we are forced to play up-tempo. Been that way for years.
So this is the Hagans we were sold

He has brought his A game so far this half
No one looks horrible and we are playing some semblance of Defense (spear headed by Hagans). He's on the Teague trajectory, that's for sure.
By the way, we look much more like a traditional UNC team and are playing them that way. Not sure how many O-Rebounds they have but it doesn't seem like nearly as many as they've had in the past against us.

This proves we can play fast with Travis (credit Geese secret text). That was my only beef with Travis, the slow plodding ****.
Thanks to UNC for making us play this way. Hopefully coach takes notice going forward. PJ has been awesome, Travis owes him a steak dinner.

Hagans needs to learn to bark at dudes and talk relentless trash. His game absolutely demands that. Bring Liggins in as Special Assistant of F*ck Your Mother to teach him the nuance.
We’ve gotten rid of the double post (horns) and running Travis on the baseline while PJ gets space in the high post...so much cleaner offense. Would have liked to have seen PJ get it there that last possession.
4-15 from 3 and up 9 at half? Yeah, I'll take that. Also, these cheating ******** only have one offensive rebound. Peej and Reid dominated that first half.

Cal's offense works when you move the ball and trust your teammates. It's cliche but true. We are a joy to watch when we play with collective enthusiasm, offensively and defensively.
Richards and Montgomery played exactly the roles they should play -- come in to get some rebounds, challenge some shots and give a change-up look to the smallball of Washington and Travis together.

Refs swallowed the whistle in the first half, and now these teams are overreacting. Getting really physical all of a sudden.
