I guess it’s fitting that a dispute over attire for a wedding occurring during a UK/UL game is what finally did in GYERO.

Culver is making a lot of money tonight.

He’s in the Tony Bennett mold, but Beard is unreal.

Takes Tech to Elite 8, loses 1st teamer Keenan Evans & a Top 20 pick, and has them right back at the same level with a re-do of Zhaire Smith w/ Culver. He’ll be getting lotto love after tonight.

Would love to get inside Barrett's head. Would have to imagine he thought Zion was going to be Pippen to his Jordan and I wonder if he's just content with those roles being reversed.

- All this Kauai talk has me wanting to vacation there even more. Done Maui, Big Island, and Oahu. Wouldn't mind hearing some details.

- Congrats, Doc. Wish you nothing but the best in your marriage and your future steak orders.

- Giving a bottle of this gem for Christmas:

I was rooting hard for Texas Tech last night solely because their coach gives a "charge card" to the player who takes the most charges that week, or whatever, and that is a huge focus of their defense.

That plus some token white guys who were decent almost make them more Duke than Duke.

-I wanted Tech to win because I f*cking hate Duke.

-May have mentioned but watching 'Meateater' on Netflix, even though I'm not a hunter, it's enjoyable. I'm completely cool with most hunting but last episode the guy was after bear and I just can't get behind that. One episode he was invited to run around South America with some indigenous people who shot and ate a monkey. While a little weird, it's their culture and who am I to judge, but sport hunting bear just doesn't sit well.

-Not a positive feeling about the game. I don't see us being able to focus for 40 minutes of D on a team like UNC. Similar to the Zags, they can take it from a 2pt game to a 15pt game in just a few minutes and they score too much to get back in touch. One of Cal's stupid lineups out there and BOOM the game is out of hand. Cal needs this one in the worst way. They need to move these games back a week or something, dumb to be right up against XMAS.

-Am feeling positive about my upcoming culinary weekend. Picking up prime grade roast tonight, serve before the game, later doing some pepe, Tuesday beef bourguignon and mashed potatoes. Plan on exploring my expanding bourbon collection.

-Little man is a trip right now, should be one of those life moments when I try to soak in as much as I can. The innocence of a 3 year old at Christmas is great.

-Inn is booked for the Il Papa festivities. Should be pretty tame with BBdk and WCC at the house throwing back barrel proof whiskey from 1p on.

While I greatly appreciate the gifts our suppliers bring in, the one my credit card processor just dropped off has a unique mixture of "whiskies" together in a box.

Any of you Louisville guys interested in a free bottle of Crown with no purple bag?

I’d say chad is at a 9 or 10 but hopefully the next two weekends bring that way down. If we lose both, I think it could get to go coach Greece redass level.

Go coach the Spartans c*cksucker!

Quade going to the PAC10 is perfect for him from a defensive standpoint.

Our bigs gonna have to GOOOOOO, or it's gonna be a long night. Hagans the defensive wizard ([eyeroll]) gets his first real test, White makes them go, but is also pretty erratic when he's off. Let's see what you've got, youngin.

Go ahead and cue up Maye busting out of his season-long funk, btw. Still, we can beat these guys - they're far from a polished squad.

-Christmas pops up out of nowhere more and more w/ each passing year for me.

What a rapid fall.

2 seasons ago, we lost to the eventual champs on a last second shot in the E8.

Last year, we blew a bracket gift the likes of which we will never see again and lost in the last seconds in the S16 when all of us had already penciled us into the F4.

Over the summer, we appeared to have a Super Team and were gonna roll this year.

Now, we got blown out by a real Super Team, lost to a ****** Seton Hall squad and have zero quality wins. According to GYERO experts, Cal is now out of touch and the game has passed him by like Bobby Knight.

And now, the cherry on top of a Diarrhea Sunday with extra nuts is wcc taking a put up or shut up approach to Cal and the Cats. Touch.

I think tossing dirt on Cal is a little overboard...

But it's completely reasonable to take a "show me" approach with this team. And it's real concerning to hear Cal talk about going with the 3 big lineup...then again, maybe EJ is Kevin Durant 2.0. Who knows, maybe our team will win.
