Campbell might take an NFL job instead of Ohio State (or insert other blue blood job that might come open in the next couple of years). He’ll certainly have options.

Isn’t Lane Kiffin in the mix? My bets on him, if in fact SAE is right and Brohm says thanks, but no thanks!

Kane Liffin owes the start of his coaching career to his dad, Monte.

And he then benefited from the strange gravitas that accompanies an NFL coach, whether or not he deserved the job in the first place.

Having proven he was not worthy of the head start that Monte gave him, he owes the renaissance of his career to Saban. Which, as no-nonsense, tremendous work ethic and salt of the earth as Saban is, that pairing never made any sense.

Looking at it that way, maybe Kane would be the perfect hire for U of L. He's the human embodiment of the 2008 mortgage crisis.

Totally agree, but I think we already did, even before you posted that. I feel it was just a known thing.

-Big fan of the triple stack McMuffin from McDs. Hit the spot on yesterdays drive home. Chaince, McMuffin, large Coke and beautiful morning. About as good as it gets for those rides home.

-Re-watched the game b/c we'd had 1 too many cold ones by halftime and it was hard to tell what was causing all the penalties with UL's gestapo censoring the replays. Mercy, they're below Joker level ******. Easily the worst team we played all year. Will not be a fun rebuilding process, especially without the luxury of competing against CUSA/BE teams.

-Had been at least 8 years since I've been to PJCS so the newer upgrades are really nice as was the club we were in. Endzone looks pretty good, much better than it did. However, that place is just such a dump. Just an industrial rail yard gray gloomy concrete warehouse dump. Really settled in how ****** the area is when I was directed to piss on a grouping of 4 dumpsters on the front row of what appeared to be the equivalent of our blue lot.

-The Year of the Card/Jurich Tenure expose' will be riveting. Jurich leaves and Petrino suddenly becomes awful and they have d3 level talent? What in the world happened?

-Sat right next to Ramsey, such a doofus.

-Incredibles 2 was solid. G liked it better than the original, I'm not so sure, both are really good. Count me as super skeptical over this Lion King remake. Not sure why we'd redo something that's already perfect.

-Met waynedougan, nice dude. Always got him mixed up with a few others but always fun watching a newbie meet the crew and get ragged on.

All in all, just what the doctor ordered. This team deserved to go out on a high note and did just that.

A brief summary of my Thanksgiving conversations with my dad:

(1) "Why doesn't the backup quarterback get a chance to play?" (ME: He got a chance and sucked) "Well, he didn't get enough of a chance."
(2) "Why doesn't Calipari play that good white boy (Tyler Herro) more? He just sits on the bench." (ME: ??????????)
(3) "You know who the Democrats are gonna run for President don't you?" (ME: Oh, Christ) "Michelle Obama!"
(4) (Five seconds later) "Hillary's gonna be who they put up to run - wait and see." (ME: Oh, Christ)
(5) "OBAMA"
(6) "Have you seen this senator up in New York?" (ME: I think she's a representative, but whatever) "She's crazy!" (ME: Please get off of Facebook) "But I want to know what's going on in the world!" (ME: Pours another drink)

That’s every conversation that took place between two or more adult males in Pike Co over the weekend.

The new talking point at ours was the difference between (non white) Nationalism and Patriotism.

And that “America First” is rooted in antisemitism.

How great was that *** kicking Saturday? Man alive. I know Louisville is trash but that was satisfying. Almost made up for the Tennessee game. Not entirely, but almost.

There’s no way Jeff Brohm turns them down, right? I know SAE has a scoop but there’s a lot of smoke and bravado around Louisville
Media fan boys right now. Gotta think they feel good. Also, saw pictures of SAE from his thanksgiving. Gorgeous family, delicious looking turkey, but my man was wearing a pullover and nice jeans. Hypocrite much???

Haven’t tried brawlhalla or whatever yet. Maybe after Christmas, as a lot of their gifts are fortnite related in some way. Did make them go outside yesterday and catch 100 pop-flys each. Baseball szn will be here soon, folks.

Mack Brown, Gene chizik and Kliff Kingfsbury to UNC? That’s a nice little trio. Surely they can muster 7-8 wins with that.

Went to the game Friday night. It was packed. Didn’t check Twitter to see if ksr was fan shaming but I thought it was a great crowd. Game was pretty boring tho. Left at halftime. If these guys all stick around for 2 more years, watch tf out.

Meh, I'm over the UT game. No team, not named Bama, goes through a year without a clunker. We got beat by that UGA game twice. Hell of a year, best of my lifetime, and overall best team of my lifetime with arguably the best player of my lifetime. Pretty special stuff and I look forward to capping it off in Florida on New Years Day. 2018-2019 Extravaganza was a huge success.

I don't know if we will see a non-Rutgers or Kansas team be worse than this year's Birdgang squad, but Arkansas should be hovering in that vicinity. Getting them as the West opponent (@ home) is beyond a gift for another 8 win season.

Weather was really nice down here for Thanksgiving so having my wife's family over worked out really well. Kids played outside a bit, old people played cards, good playlist was going on in the background.. food also turned out pretty good. Most folks had to run to another family function so people cleared out late afternoon, and I caught a nice little nap.

I had seen all the scores this year, but hadnt watched UL play much at all. Knew they were bad, but that was something else. The Crum scenario pretty much summed up the current state of their program. Am I in the minority in thinking that Brohm just isnt the savior that place needs? Good coach- but there are some other names available that I would at least want to get a no from. The likely best case scenario is that they ultimately end up in the upper-mid level of the ACC if it works out-- but it seems they believe they are above that.

Speaking of programs that dont seem to understand their place- WKU.

First time I can recall seeing a kid ejected on an extra point.

Really nice game for WIlson to build on. Obviously UL was trash- but putting up good numbers in a rivalry game should be a nice segway into the bowl game and spring ball. Running game will still be okay when Snell leaves. [smoke] Kavosiey Smoke. Best name in football. Also a big fan of Smoke Monday at Auburn.

Heard my buddy took a nice little spill in the PNC Club and smacked his head sometime during the game... Not the first time for that guy- he's a mess. Looked like the place was nothing but Pseudo's by the 2nd half. Impressive showing, and glad that the fan shaming seemed to give some of you the kick in the *** you needed and get to the game after brunch.

Lulz at Forde refusing to mention the UK game. Loser.

* Nice edit, anth. Little known fact about our annual tailgating sign ( ** tips cap, and pours a little out/rip, to beavis **) --> the date on the sign was always a little tongue-in-cheek. It was always "the 2012-13," or "the 2009-10," rather than "the 2015," because I wanted to sarcastically state that the season overlapped into the next calendar year, despite the fact that was ALMOST NEVER actually play that long.

And here we are today, looking at a true 2018-19 season. Finally.

* Fights all over college football this weekend, and you know what really pisses me off?

********, trash, garbage, awful teams like Louisville haven't earned the right to throw blows in a game like that. You wanna fight?? Fight for better than a gd 2-10 record. Fight to stop the opposing offense from running up the score.

You haven't earned the right to truly, physically fight the other team. F you.

* My company's HR department is coming thru big time. I've been assigned a specialist to help me find other internal jobs, and just this morning was forwarded several opportunities for software engineers, coding specialists, infrastructure architecturists, and other high paying it gigs.

With my long track record in sales, and a couple of business degrees, this is a huge help. Thanks, team!!!

* When calmer heads prevail, you'll understand that some games you win and deserve to lose, and vice versa. We should have beaten Tennessee just as much as we should have lost to Missouri. In the end, we're 9-and-freakin-3. Amazing.

* <-- rooting for Orlando, and have The Book of Mormon soundtrack stuck in my head now.

* Saw Bohemian Rhapsody over the weekend with the lassie. From now on, anytime things are going well (career, fitness, personal, etc), I'm peacocking and prancing around like Freddie Mercury. That dude had style, man.

* Got a 2:30am wakeup call from my next door neighbor saying he saw someone trying to break into my car. Meh. It's New Orleans. Not even worth getting out of bed for. Holla at me when someone has a weapon.

If Brohm has designs on a "big" destination job down the road, he may want to steer clear of UL. Emotionally, it might be easier for him to leave Purdue for one of those than UL.

With this said, there is absolutely no guarantee that he's a slam dunk success if he comes to UL.

If you're talking about Condor, he was a mess. Found him face down, fully clothed, on top of the covers in my bed for the night. Got a nice night with a tiny little cover on the couch and make shift pillows because of it.

Anybody who talks politics at Thanksgiving or Christmas in the current climate is an *******. Football, food, family. And bourbon. Save the rest for the Facebook feed everyone you know has secretly muted.
At least for me, it was the Friday after. I pretty much had to tell my dad to stop looking for **** on Facebook that was just going to piss him off and to give that site a rest for a week. I might as well have told him to cut his dick off.

I assumed it was Bonzo given his history of falls and cracked heads at Football events. Could have been me as well I suppose, as I browned out for the night somewhere around halftime, it seems.

Love everything about that day every other year, glad some more people joined in this year [cheers]

How about in the funeral home during a visitation two days before Thanksgiving. Had a distant family member loudly proclaiming his love for Trump in the break room(?) during my uncle's visitation while the immediate family was trying to get away for a sandwich.

-Home Alone last night. That movie will be thirty (30!!) years old in 2020. Wild. Interestingly, the 10 pizzas they ordered were $12 a pop, which is pretty much what a pizza still costs today. Is there a reddit thread on why he didn't just call the cops?

-UPDATE FROM SOURCE: JB said no, but apparently gave them a ridiculous number to change his mind. So he's still an option but seems to be playing a rather strong hand (rightfully so).

Again, I am just passing along. Please keep in GYERO and consider it's River City provenance.

-Saturday was a blast, for sure. Weather was perfect. Actually, that made me wish it was still a September game and not at the end of the season. Oh well.

-Really can't overvalue a beer man walking up and down the stands during a Wildcat football game. Shew. Was dope, as always.

-Didn't see fylm but assume he made it.

The other one, but I talked to the Condor yesterday and he was still in a bad way.

Bonzo sent a ton of pics throughout the game- there was a noticeable decline in sobriety as the night wore on. The last few were basically just a bunch of blank stares into the camera.

We definitely had no business going to Gerstle's post game, not sure how or why that happened -- I put my trust in Anth and he let me down.

Do recall getting a kick out of how quiet the stadium was in regards to fan interaction, at least where we were. UofL fans didn't say ****, and neither did we -- everyone knew.

Home Alone is underrated man. Every time I watch I catch something I didn’t notice the first go round that make the movie “work”. Sorta like back to the future. Probably my second favorite Christmas movie.
