I think what has Chad so pissed is some people act like these are the late Tubby years. We're not running ball line d or playing Mark Coury. We don't need to rehab the whole program or make monumental changes. Things really aren't that damn bad. Frustrating, sure, but just get back to recruiting like he did for 20 years and playing that fun brand of basketball. Im sure he's plenty motivated.

That’s one part- I mean, GD, it’s November and we have a pretty talented team, and already two Top 10 recruits for next year.

The second part is this is a UK board in a thread supposedly comprised of people of my level of fandom- I shouldn’t have to deal with trolling bitches drooling over one of our biggest rivals. I don’t want to hear the self loathing BS. Who needs it? Not me.

Big difference between a critical Geesefeeder post and some of this other horseshit.

If you aren’t going to the game tomorrow to support our boys, then you don’t have the right to sit on your computer whining like a damn basketball benny.

You’ve been drinking swill and well grade **** for 25 years. Now that it’s going for nearly a grand a bottle, that’s a great time to make the change. Kudos on your timing.

Bitcoin investment doing well, too?

Also, it's trash that Chaminade isn't in the Maui Tourney this year.

Agree. If for no other reason than they might have saved me from writing three straight "We tried real hard (did we?) but still lost" recaps. Maybe. (From home, not from Maui.)

Onto the battle of "please don't let us be the team that loses all three games here," then having both teams hop on the same plane for 10 hours immediately afterward.

Hey, we might not be in Maui or any other Thanksgiving tournament, but we have a 2pm game today against mighty Winthrop...

As someone else already mentioned, we need to get our scheduling fixed. We should try to bring back the glory to the Great Alaskan Shootout.

Edit - 1pm game. Don't want to confuse any of ya.

Thanksgiving Shorts:

- Glad SAE and BBdK made up. Both great members of BBN and hated seeing their friendship in peril.

- I know he’s spoiled and a pain in the *** but sure wish Calipari would’ve signed Bol Bol. Would have fit perfectly along Washington on offense and defense.

- I mean, I know Cal’s dedicated to a 1950s style offense but umm it was only two years ago we played an uptempo offense, featuring a 3 guards, a stretch 4 and a modern 5. Yeah he reigned them in a bit but I’ll be damned if they weren’t playing as well as anyone in March.

But that’s basketball for ya- one shot or one bad call can alter a legacy and change a narrative.

- lol wife tried to tell me we were having dinner with her friend, friend’s parents and my in-laws Saturday night. False. And I guarantee her dad wants to watch the game with me.

- I love a festive house/bar/restaurant for the holidays. Always have.

- Nice of you guys to poke fun at PTI for getting laid off. smh

- Recruiting is never finished until May these days- decommits, reclassifieds, emergents, transfers will happen as always. Stay the course.

- For Married Guy, having great in-laws makes life so much better. Don’t have a bad word to say about mine. Wish they were around more.

You got a little mouthy about your brother in law draining your good bourbon.

Saturday night sounds like an opportunity to make that happen!

- Her dad is a diehard Dolphins football fan. He gets it and has watched several UK-Louisville games with me, including the two of us getting rowdy in a Richmond, Va. pub two years ago when we smacked Lamar.

- What a day of hoops. Looking forward to seeing what the Zags can do against Duke.

WTF is going on around here?

I have no problem with this year's non conference schedule. Duke, UNC, Kansas, Seton Hall, Utah, Louisville.

C'mon, man. That is one of our best schedules ever.

Sure, it would be nice if Anthony could come up with another excuse to take another week off work and go to Hawaii, but I think we will be ok.

The football Cayuts are 8-3, #15 in the country and a heavy favorite for the finale at the Pigeon Coop. I would've killed for that. But most of you are moping around like we are 0-for-the-SEC and Joker is still coaching. Man the touch up.

Our basketball team got their asses kicked in one game and now the game has passed our fat coach by and despite already having 2 top 10 recruits for next year and never having worse than a top 2 class since he's been here, he can't recruit any more.

And it is touching November. UK fans, more than anybody, should know that titles aren't won in November.

Is everything rainbows and unicorns? No.

But, holy ****, some of you are either the biggest pussies in the world, entitled little bitches or need to be put on anti depression meds.

-Big fan of my in-laws after a decade. Great people.

-Got an extry to today's game if anyone wants to go. Secretly love these games each year.

-Duke is beatable. I've always known that but last night I could finally stomach watching them. That helped with my psyche a little. This isn't like his other flop freshman team... I love that they come out ready to rip peoples heart out. But they are awful at transition D and will settle for bad shots with a little pressure. Looking at you UVA and UNC.

-Anyone else get hammered at the boat last night?

-Reading Adam Smith: The Father of Economics and it's about as exhilarating as it sounds. May have gotten a little cute/cocky with this pick but I'm not quitting.

-650+ is way too much for lot b. "Good" for the 15. Meh, bourbon can only get so good and it can't be 600 per bottle better than Blanton's or Eagle Rare. I buy one expensive bottle per year as a gift.
