Broccoli/Cheese casserole is my favorite Thanksgiving side -- served at my mom's, in a pole barn/hunting lodge, on these :sunglasses:

Tiger and Phil blasting hot bloody diarrhea down their legs during the Ryder Cup completely ruined the PPV hype.

With that said, I’m going to a get together with some golf buddies to watch it. Tiger/Phil, booze, food, smoke, 150 inch screen, gambling golf on Black Friday. I’m still ALL IN.

Even the best mashed potatoes can’t pass sweet potato casserole or cheesy potato casserole on the Thanksgiving potato depth chart.

- Flying tomorrow to Mathiston, MS to spend Thanksgiving with the gf's family. I'm sure they can't wait to meet my Italian ***.

- The good part is that I'll be leaving NC and don't have to hear about Duke everywhere I go the next few days.

- Got the W in Las Vegas a couple weeks ago. Biggest money campaign yet, about $64 million.

- The 2019 class is awful. Even if we did get Wiseman....we better be praying not many guys follow their dreams.

- What's with the mac and cheese hate the past few days on here? Just keep the f***ing veggies out of it.

The reason you think “Thanksgiving food sucks” is because many of the dishes (including the main event turkey and dressing) take a decent amount of skill.

Which ties directly to your love for mashed potatoes. Get some real cooks in your kitchen and you’ll worship thanksgiving.

Mashed potatoes and corn? Marcus throw a chicken patty and a carton of chocolate milk on my plate, and threaten to take my recess if I hide the salt shaker.

Kind of like wrestling, when you get to a high level, the battle is won with fundamental moves.

Turkey is the single leg takedown of Thanksgiving.

Yep. Like the Stone Cold Stunner. Doesn't get more fundamental than that.

It absolutely chaps my wife's *** that my family has no interest whatsoever in anything she might bring for Thanksgiving. She's a phenomenal cook, but these people have been eating the same 10 or 11 things for the past 75 years. Anything "new" is gonna get the side eye and - if you're lucky - a courtesy half spoonful per plate.

How about this for irony? The day after we all talk about how thankful we are for what we have in our life, we fight crazy mobs for deals on items we want. Just kinda makes you think
You gotta start working on what you'll be thankful for next year, i.e., low, low prices and the strength to knock an old lady out of the way for the last set of 75% off towels.

My wife once signed up for the “cranberry sauce” for a Friendsgiving in NYC and grabbed a Cranberry Apple Butter jar out of the fridge as we headed for a cab. (That’s what she had been planning on bringing all along).

That’s when I realized just how incorrect Canadians are about most things.

best way to finish of Thanksgiving plate :

Sister Shubert roll
piece of ham
one scoop of mashed potatoes.

lap up the left over macaroni and cheese sauce ? left on the plate with the ham / mashed potato roll.

-No mention yet of hash-brown casserole, which is straight fire.

-Do feel badly about bailing on Adrian, but my best REAL friend who is a football first guy like me asked if I wanted to go and I couldn't turn him down. Hopefully will still see you jagoffs pregame?

-Deener this morning saying what I feel: UK is going to *run* Louisville like NC State and everyone else has. There simply isn't any evidence to the contrary, and football teams experiencing the season they just had with the end in sight don't all of the sudden become good (or care for that matter). Cats 48 Cards 10

-I like a couple cold ones around noon to start the Thanksgiving day drinking. Bourbon/wine at dinner. Back to cold one city for the night.

For no reason? Dude is bragging in GYERO about not even watching our basketball games, at all. Old Chad wouldn't stand for that ****.

Couldn't care less if he's going with his best buddy, it was the ***** way in which it was handled. I'd been working on tickets for weeks, as I always do for us for that game, and once I secured them I texted to let him know we were set only to receive a "yeah, actually I'm out" response, which he'd surely been holding in his back pocket for awhile. [eyeroll] Weak AF, and I won't forget it.

My aunt and uncle bowed out of hosting Thanksgiving a few years ago and their “in-town” son took over. But, that family declined this year and it was kind of in limbo for a bit...

Then, their other son’s family invited them up to Boston for Thanksgiving and my uncle turned around an email blast inviting us all to my aunt and uncles’ for Thanksgiving.

My cousin’s wife (in Boston) is a terrible cook and my aunts are all awesome, obvs. Pretty baller move by my uncle, IMO. Missing the traditonal butterhorns aren’t worth seeing those two grandkids (+ travel). Easy call.
