New Riff is fine for a 4YO bourbon. It’s hot and young and too expensive, like most everything else these days. But it does have a unique flavor profile that I really look forward to trying at around 7 years.

-i know chad...i keep pimping Filson(maga) but no one will listen.

-in reality i like barbour stuff...you cant break it. That said it is Englands version of Carhartt. Prima's godfather(english jay) used to buy a bunch at his parents local hardware/garden store when he went home to visit...and give as gifts when he came back to the us. Bought cheap(without american preppy markup)...and looked like a rockstar at bdays/holidays. Oddly his neices ask for Abercrombie stuff...apparently its super expensive over there. Who knew? I did, thats who.

-I'm cool with a Manhattan but 99% of my whiskey consumption is with 2 cubes of ice.
