Maxey, McDaniels and Whitney to go along with Herro and a returning PG would be a pretty fun squad.

AD was the best player to ever wear the uniform so I say this with perspective... When can we start getting BMF elite level players again? Not talking 10-30 ranked dudes. I’m talking your Wall, Cousins, Davis, Towns, MKG type players that you know are going to make us the best team in college ball and are talented enough to overcome typical freshmen deferencies.

I’m really getting sick and tired of watching Duke get what seems like all of these dudes now while Joel Justus sits there with his dick in his hand. Justus went 0-3 on Zion, Barrett and Reddish and he’s about to whiff on Carey and Wiseman. Stop making excuses.. Penny. Capel. Whatever. We’re Kentucky. This isn’t a place for you to cut your coaching teeth.

-Not hating but I don't think JJ was the lead for Reddish, Barrett or Williamson. Wiseman, yes.

-We'll see on Herro. In live action he's looked pretty suspect. But you'll have Hagans and Green and Baker back.

-Hopefully we add McDaniels and Dante. Maybe steal Carey but I just don't see it.

-FOH on the DA hate. So what he criticized the current coach? Former players do that **** all the time. DA is the man.

Our last Top 5 signee was....Skal Labissiere in 2015. :sunglasses:

-Oh, so Herro is a worthless player now after 2 whole games? Got it. [eyeroll] Kid is going to be fine, actually much better than fine. Let's give him a minute.

Although I'd love to see a Kansas guard progression out of him, I doubt Green sticks around (UK) past this year, just a feeling.

Hagans has not one redeemable basketball skill, bub.

Oh, forgot ----> he's a "lock down" defender. [eyeroll] (aka, what you say about a supposed 5* player who's not good at anything else)

Just saying, a lot of really smart basketball guys were sky high on him. I'm not down on Herro, nearly as much as Hagans, but calling you for being hypocritical.

^ Yeah, and they whiffed BIG TIME. They almost unanimously said he was the best or 2nd best PG in EITHER class, and talked about him as potentially being our "best prospect" Lol.

Maybe in a year or two, but he's nowhere near what we were sold, let's just be honest. Very marginal athlete as well, the next time he beats a man somewhere will be the first.

Yeah they were all top 10 guys. Also, Bam was top 5 ESPN so he would be the last top 5 player.

You can't pick and choose which rankings to follow.

RSCI or bust.

- Hagans has the look of a kid who was stronger than 99% of the teenagers he played against in HS, and that made him seem better than he was.

Not giving up on anyone in mid-F’ing-November but he was overrated imo.

- Agree with Wodie on Herro and think his takes have been pretty damn strong this season.

- ‘17 was fun as hell to watch from the get-go, had a bit of a February slump, but was one of the two best teams in the land when it mattered in late March. Most underrated team of the Cal era.

Go watch his 'mixtape', which is the BEST of his highlights. He's wack -- they put WAYYY to much stock in him being some rugged/competitive dude.

Everyone can pretend that's important, but it really isn't -- at least not at the PG position in 2018.

Look, I can't wait to be wrong about him, but I don't think I will be. At least not this year.

I don't think anyone is giving up on Herro (at least not like you've done with Hagans). But he's not a 1 and done guy, which I think was the point. And if he is 1 and done, it's going to be 1 and Siberia. Not 1 and the NBA.

Sorry, chad. Did you miss the memo? Quade should be playing 12 min per game at LaSalle. He's a little ***** boi that can't hack it at Kentucky.

Make Green your PG- completely give him the reigns. Start IQ or Herro alongside- use Hagans as energy off the bench.

I know Cal doesn’t love Green but he’s our best option as I’ve argued since summer.
Kinda reminds me of the Pitino-Epps situation*.

*I'm not implying in any way, shape, or form that Green=Epps, just that both might wind up being the best option to run their particular teams.
