DA was one of the loudest critics of Cal on Louisville talk shows after the Wisconsin game, iirc.

...and that’s fine and all but don’t expect Cal to sit you on the bench next to him when you go that route.

Sounds like a damn basketball benny to me! Just sit down eat your ice cream and watch these boys realize their dreams, DA!

I typically don't embarrass myself in GAMBOL in front of others but the end of the LSU game was as brutal as it gets for me. One perfect large parlay -10 one perfect six game teaser -7, I now hate LSU for all time. The self hate for not hedging was as bad as the loss.

Would have HAMMERED an in game on the Gunner interception.

Sports suck.

The RPO problem with Wilson is why teams have been able to stop Snell. A&M dared him the whole game to run or pass effectively out of it and he can't. Since then teams aren't just loading the box but they are ignoring him as a runner. I don't think he can read the defense well enough to make the correct decision and when he chooses to run he is indecisive or fumbles. This (and a set of balls) is the difference between he and Steven Johnson.

Also, I have no clue why we line up Snell in the wildcat and rarely bring Wilson or Bowden in motion.

They were outgained in their previous 5 games prior to us.
For 3/4s on Saturday they played like **** and we couldn't do anything.

That's why I'm saying they have to try something. They go out, and god forbid, lose to one of these next 2 teams... everything is erased from the previous 10 weeks.

The last jet sweep we ran was the last long offensive play we had. TS.

Stoops needs to salvage any remaining positive momentum he has at the end of the season and scoop up Gus malzahn. Let Mitch take him to chick fil-a and get the damn deal done
No ****. I know it's facetious but you think Malzahn couldn't find a way to score with Benny, Rose, Wilson and Bowden?

I keep bringing it up but this was our bread and butter at the beginning of the season and it was the perfect RPO. Haven't went back to it since the USC game.

Buddy I’m not being facetious. If mark stoops is SERIOUS about this **** he needs to can Gran and scoop him up. He’s going to be an OC somewhere next year. Make him a damn offer he can’t turn down. Stay in the SEC but move to the east. Get his mojo back doing what he does best with a pretty good offensive stable. Aj rose, terry wilson, Richardson, Bowden, hell, he could probably get Gunnar Hoak to stick around. Plus Kovasiey Smoke is a perfect SEC name. Let mark focus on the defense. Maybe have a complete team for once. But I dream

Listening to Tim Sullivan on the Valvano show. I really enjoy listening to him speak. Old school. Well spoken. Kind of a curmudgeon.

When he first start writing for the CJ in 2012 he tweeted right after UK loss to Western Ky something to the effect of “Well, it doesn’t matter. The fans don’t care nor does the UK administration as seen by the facilities”. He was totally new to the area moving from San Diego and really didn’t know much about the local sports scene.

I got all redassed and started tweeting him non stop about how loyal the UK football fanbase as a whole has been historically especially compared to that of UL and to quit getting his talking points from Boss Jurich. This was peak the local media
lapdogs sucking off all things UL and Jurich as we were entering the official YEAR OF THE CARD.

He then DM’s me and gives me his cell # and says let’s talk about it. I give him a call and we talk for over an 90 minutes about the local sports scene, UK vs UL, etc. He didn’t have to do that and I thought it was nice of him.

If TW is the best/only option we have then fine, so be it. But using him the way we are is complete incompetence.

I actually feel sorry for the kid because we’ve not even made a half-assed attempt at masking his weaknesses. Taking quite possibly the worst QB I’ve ever seen at a Power 5 school, and making him do 5 step drops and 3-4 reads is a fireable offense.

He was the POY before getting hurt. Honestly, his half year may have been one of the most enjoyable to watch in my time as a UK fan. An athletic wing who could shoot and dunk on anyone, he was incredible! Still the most devastating injury to a player since I've watched UK. Of course, Bowie and Mike Casey were before my time.

How long have you been watching UK football Norm?

Chief with a solid take.

Terry Wilson is clearly our best option and is bad but not really terrible. Just sort of blandly bad in a way that makes you think that he will eventually be good and/or is being misused.
