I'm having a pretty, pretty good weekend so far.

Started off yesterday by getting a filling at the dentist sans (we found out halfway through the procedure) the appropriate amount of Novocaine. Then I came down with a cold, but not to worry - things were looking up!

Work needed me to go out to Singapore, so I found a flight through Helsinki of all places because it's the one place that had business class fares that were somewhat reasonable at the last moment. It meant that I'd have a full day layover in Helsinki. Found that the thing to do is hit the Saunas there - and one of the most popular is the coed Loyly Sauna - which is on the Baltic Sea. The move is to hit the Sauna then jump in the Baltic Sea (which is currently around 40 degrees F right now). You can see the ladder down to the Baltic in the bottom right of the pic. Made a reservation and was all set!

Long story short - my 2:20 PM United flight got pushed to 5:00 PM and I couldn't get on any other flights as they were booked. And the airlines said the best they can do is get me to Singapore by Tuesday - which is a day after the conference I needed to attend was over. So bye-bye Finland. Bye-bye Baltic Sea Sauna. And bye-bye a great business opportunity for me over there.

So here I am - stuck in miserable November Kentucky with a cold, where I'm sure UT is going to kick our ***.

- Man, college football season goes quick.

- Love the wife move of bitching at me about something stupid until I snap and get pissed, then blame the fight on how I speak to her. A classic.

- Watching UK bitchslap Tennessee and then grabbing dinner at The Eagle with said wife.

- Penny Hardaway can GF.

- I’ve got nothing to say about UK basketball. Just enjoying the long, constant grind of this program. [poop]

WE SOME DOGS (except when people point out we’ve completely regressed in two months and are playing horrible basketball, that hurts our feelings)

Neighbor gave me tickets at 5:45 last night so I went. I had a good view of the offense I. The 2nd half. We took the lead with rebounds and outlets and Quade running the point and Quickley off the ball. But of course when we got the lead Cal slowed them down and we ran 1996 era sets and luckily won.

Chad... I highly suggest finding a dive bar that becomes a home away from home. A nice pit stop between work & home.

Small talk with the bartender. Good tunes in the background. Cheap domestos and good wings. Maybe an in house bookie. All of this can go a long way.
It’s called a strip club.

Towns is a millennial, as is Wiggins. Sorry but Minnesota is about to find out just how much they did need Butler.

The way this first cold weekend has affected the early games today makes me wonder how we react. How game plan should play to our benefit and punish UT.

More than any other SEC school I HATE Tennessee!

Jimmy Butler is a F’ing douchebag who has never won anywhere. If anyone fits the millennial stereotype, it’s that sniveling piece of ****.

Yet another awesome GD post from you. Keep it up.

-Picked up a New Riff, 50+ for a 4 year old??, but I like the proof. Also snagged a Buffalo Trace and 12 pack of BS Helles. Solid score other than getting straight crop dusted by a middle age lady, twas brutal.

-KAT put up 39/19 last night, probably knew Butler was done. Once again, f*ck Jimmy Butler, he's an epic loser douche.

-Don't have much for a watering hole although I do like Saints.

-Really struggling to make it to 3:30 to visit cold one city.

-Still pretty torqued that we're even in this bait and switch situation but with that being said we saw a few glimpses of what we need to do. Quickly/Green/Johnson the majority back court then Herro for spot duty. Hagans next to Brad, I guess whatever ******** Ga town he came from never taught him fundamentals. Richards played a hell of a game. If he can give you even 75% of that consistently it erases a lot. Travis will be fine. Montgomery deserves Washington's minutes next game. Easily the most frustrated at PJ at least Hagans is like 16 years old. These young guys can't even run a proper fast break, I'm not sure I remember a group that hit transition this poorly.

-Auburn looked great.

-UL needs to push the Petrino decision until after final game. Please do that for us. Sullivan said he'd imagine BOT would have to give clearance due to them being flat broke.

-Very worried about Huggy, he looked near death last night. Swollen, pale, sunken in eyes. Dude may go down during a game this year.

KAT has averaged 20&10 with Butler there, but I guess they will be better now according to GYERO.

It isn’t like everyone who follows the NBA has questioned KAT’s disappearance acts when it counts.

Not worth arguing today, and I hope KAT leads them to the playoffs and dominates to prove me wrong. That would be great!

I think it’s very important for the newly married men in here and the younger guys that we’ve had this discussion about Bruce. Every married man needs to find a fair man like Bruce in their neighborhood. I’d suggest at minimum one visit a week, maybe two, for a balanced and happy home life.
