Fair game to point fingers and ridicule and shame our Wildcat brethren for making the trip to Indy? Was it worth the time and expense? Did you enjoy the trip? What category level is the hangover this morning?

Enjoy the bumper to bumper traffic and the wasted PTO days, losers.

I got the sense all off-season from the Big Blue Elites that Indy wasn't a desirable enough destination. Will probably cost average UK fans a home-and-home series when they look at scheduling this summer.

Worst part is that there’s no positive way to spin this. This wasn’t a ”well, they went 10 for 15 from three and only beat us by five,” or “yeah but our best two players were in foul trouble all night so Cal’s hands were tied” or “our players were all freshmen making their first appearance on the big stage so they were nervous, but you can see the potential!”

This was a straight *** whooping. Those two teams play 10 times on a neutral floor, Duke’s winning all 10. Not by 34, but it wouldn’t be close either.

And this was supposed to be our year, too.

God, it’s depressing.

Turned the game off in the first half inside the 8 minute TV timeout.

Coach K long dicked Cal all night, Ice Cube dis track style.

We where the 4th best team in the Champions Classic.

If this game was a teaching tool, Every puss boi on UK should be Rhodes Scholars.

We got a lot of figuring out to do.

Should have played zone with the way we defended the drive. Lazy *** no hands up on uncontested jumpers when they where not driving straight to the rack.

Other then those things, it wasn't too bad.

UT in Knoxville will be U-G-L-Y. Might be a DD loss year.

Do you guys not realize we ran a zone for a minute and RJ just dropped two bombs right in their faces?

A f'ing zone wouldn't have stopped the onslaught. There was nothing anyone could have done when your team is already intimidated and quitting at the first TV timeout.

They got smoked by a better built, more athletic team. Duke shouldn't lose a game this year. Especially since it's quite evident Zion will get the star player whistle.

How's the cheer-leading squad? Rifle team? Baseball?

We did actually switch to zone a couple of times. With all the easy drives and open jumpers, you might have missed it.

Strategy wasn't the biggest issue last night.
Talent, desire, coaching -- Those are the real problems.

All I can think is that Cal was tipped off to the college basketball scandal early and just stopped doing what he was doing in regards to the top players. Maybe he knew that he wouldn't get special treatment from the NCAA/sports journos so he just had to pull back. Coach K filled the vacuum.

Freaking super depressing. I stopped with 8 minutes left in the first half. Put in Red Dead Redemption 1 and blasted people

Look, I'm still cautiously optimistic the football team doesn't fall into the usual late season **** down your leg cycle. The only silver lining we had in the event UK football UK footballs was a stacked, experienced and loaded bball team to look forward to. Well, we don't even have that.

Cal created this and he can either fix it or GTFO. Kentucky fans have bent over backwards for him. He's been given every resource imaginable. He has been given blind loyalty by BBN. He has top notch facilities. He has every damn thing a coach would need to win championships. Not a GD thing hasn't been provided to Cal that he's wanted. Oh, and it's paid unbelievably well.

Well, time to get a return on the investment. While the occasional surprise tourney runs are fun and exciting, at some point you have to stop being an average coach who lands top classes time and time again and produce some f'ing hardware.

I'm a little surprised Zion isn't supposed to go #1. I absolutely hate that he isn't playing here because he is exactly the type of guy we used to get. I also hate that I like watching him play. Dude is an animal, and any fat jokes made about look pretty GD dumb at the moment.

Forde article.

The federal government has given the NCAA a nod of approval to begin looking into potential NCAA violations tied to certain schools implicated in the federal basketball investigation, according to multiple sources. This serves as the first step of what could be one of the broadest and most important investigations in the history of the NCAA’s enforcement division.

We went zone, they flashed to the middle, and either kicked it out for an open 3 or scored in the paint/on the baseline.

They went zone, we passed it around the perimeter for 20 seconds, flashed to the middle, threw the ball directly into one of their (active) hands, and turned it over.

Looking at #9 folks. All we have to do is wait for the NCAA to suspend every player from Duke, Kansas and all the other top programs. And maybe suspend some guys from bubble teams too.

The zone part was sarcasm, as was the teaching lessons they should be Rhodes Scholars. Not a damn think other then pride and more heart would have HELPED last night. Still would not have won, but maybe made it respectable.

Time to change the whole offense and defensive scheme. Oh, and minutes are to be earned, not given.

starting 5

Quickley
Herro
Keldon Johnson
EJ
Travis

Hagans, PJ, Richards, Green need to earn minutes back. PJ Washington SHOULD be a leader, but only reason he is back is to work on extended that range on his jumper. Team be damned, he is going to work on getting HIS game NBA ready.
