Feel pretty bad for Mad Mushroom not getting a review from Pres.

One of my college gigs was working in the ad-department for the Kernel, and my area was basically the Limestone/Upper/Downtown scene. Trying to collect money from some of those places put a damper on my entrepreneurial spirit. I'm convinced some of those places didnt even have a checking account. They would be cash rich for about 2 hours a night Thurs-Saturday and then it was gone. Quite a lot of "We can't pay our full bill, but here is $13 from the register"

Also sending in an unarmed 135 pound college kid to collect money from a disgruntled, often hungover, often facing gambling debt, bar owner- in hindsight, was a bad strategy.

I had some buddies who worked for some of those bars; they said within a month or two on the job, the idea of a W2, weekly paycheck, taxes, etc., all went away and it was straight cash homie.

According to a tweet from a New York Times reporter, he was asked by a reporter, " “Kid Rock, should President Trump fire Jeff Sessions?”

Kid replied, “Fire you.”

Director Jimmy Chin was involved in climbing and directing Meru, was a fascinating documentary. I'll be watching Free Solo as well.

Anyone notice that Vitale seems to hate Miller/Arizona? He'll back just about any other marquee coach/program into Bolivia, but every time something comes up about Zona, he fires off an 'UH OH' style Tweet suggesting they are shady AF. :joy:

Eagle review, Richie?

I think it may have the best patio setup in Louisville. Modern. Plenty of space, fire pits and a really cool bar area.

The fried chicken with spicy honey is WAF and the Mac N Cheese was really good. Lass got the spicy shrimp Po Boy. If you want really good Southern style comfort food on a patio hit it up.

For a night cap we went to The Champagnery. Place has a Chicago/NYC vibe. Cool atmosphere. Great cocktails.

I'd guess it's much more about them wanting to come to a real Food city where people can safely enjoy their atmosphere & product.

Hopefully they last longer than Tom+Chee.

^ only been once many years ago -- comfort food as well, pretty sure everything is good as I've never heard a bad word about it; Cool place.

That's Richie's domain, he's your man here as well.

Geese,

Village Anchor... Try to grab a seat at the downstairs bar, The Sea Hag, for some premeal
cocktails. Really cozy basement bar.

I would also try to get a table outside. There’s an upstairs patio and downstairs patio surrounded by a ton of trees and greenspace bc it’s in the heart of a residential neighborhood.

I usually get the bourbon glazed pork chop but I hear the Shrimp n Grits is solid. You’ll enjoy.

Tired of reading in every article about the cbb trial, that Brian Bowen's nickname is "Tugs". [sick]

1. Never heard that before this week, now can't get away from it.
2. It's just bad on several different levels, and it bugs me.
3. Make it stop.

They had a Tom+Chee in Lincoln, NE when I was working there...I had been wanting to try it since seeing it on Shark Tank. Wasn't very good.

Barbara usually crushes it when it comes to food investments (that's about it). Cousins Maine Lobster is one of the top investments from anyone.

Cousin is based at Tyndall AFB, where they eye of the storm hit. He's in Biloxi riding it out and hoping for the best. By the looks of it, bis house is probably destroyed.

Kansas. Eat a plate of human dog ****.

If Miller was a WOP, Vitale would be behind him 100%.

Alright DJIA, that's about enough. However, if it stalls interest rate increases a couple of quarters, or until I move....that's ok.

You could take the complaints and the unwritten rules every single poster on GYERO collectively has for their respective jobs, and it wouldn't measure up to roguemocha's on his own.

Good god, man. You sling beers. In f'ing Key West. Get a grip.
You're right actually. I’m not meaning to complain, more educate if you will. I’m fortunate, I love what I do, live in a place I really enjoy year round and make pretty decent scratch working 6 hour days. Don’t mean to come off spiteful or resentful. Mis disculpas.

LSU game in '07, I went to Pazzos before then scalped two tix and watched us win then went back and got drunker than cooter brown downstairs and had sex with my then-girlfriend in my Honda Accord. Don't think I ever ate a slice of pizza that day though.

At any rate, Pazzos will always be special to this cat fan.
I was there that night as well after attending the game. My buddy threw up in the fountain outside in the kitty’s courtyard. I made him scoop it out with his hat. Good stuff, great times.
