Clay Travis (39), Dave Portnoy (41), and Daniel Tosh (42) are the voice of TODAY’S college undergrad. Weird.

I’m 42 so the irony of this post isn’t totally lost on me.

Anyone hear if this hurricane has any rain associated with it?
Cantore just gave me a ring, it does in fact have rain with it. He went on to say ALL hurricanes do. Mind-blowing I know.

You missed the fact that I said the Carolinas hurricane wasn’t going to be like Stroud thought, ripping houses apart and everyone would die. If rain kills you, well, you’re a ***** and should’ve left as EVERYONE in charge advised you to do.

My father-in-law, who I met for the first time at a Rams Club wine and cheese "tailgate" ([sick]) and who told me the entire lineage of UNC basketball for the first hour, has forsaken all UNC sports out of disgust. He is probably, quite literally, the only one who has done so.

There was initial embarrassment by some of the fanbase but that's completely disappeared. ALL CLEAR! It's pathetic.

Eric Crawford snacking naive UL fan around is pretty tasty.
You'd think by now they would understand their best hope is the NCAA just says, "this is all way too much and everyone is cleared of wrong doing -> clean slate."

2 separate coaches paying a player/parent literally days after being hit with probation for hookers. That is exactly the same **** that got SMU on Death Penalty.

TrueSouth is the best thing done by the SEC Network. Really cool, interesting show.

Its really not all that similar-I think Wetzel is reaching. UL was definitely careless and dumb- but SMU basically had a team on a payroll, guys driving around in gold Pontiacs, etc... It was a lot more sophisticated than Katina Powell and Brian Bowen.

If they want to tack on some more temporary pain for their athletics department- I wont feel sorry, but the Death Penalty was a one time thing for the NCAA

It is worse than SMU. Louisville had a woman ***** her own (probably underage) daughters to get underage recruits then, while on probation, paid another recruit.

Wetzel is right.

Louisville during that time was morally sickening. And paying players isn't sickening.

What got SMU in the most trouble is that they committed violations while already under probation for similar violations. I don't think the NCAA will ever give the death penalty again but the death penalty is called the repeat violator offense and if the Kenny Johnson stuff holds water, it's a repeat violation, right?

It's fun in and of itself that there will be death penalty talk surrounding UL Basketball for a really long time.

The best case here is the NCAA drops the DP on Louisville, wags their finger at everyone else then Emmert gets me too'd by Urban Meyer. Everyone else skates.

I don't know if they'll end up getting it, but I think we can assume that, if they don't, then it's officially been retired. I can't imagine anything more blatant, or so completely and thoroughly exposed, as this ever coming to light.

Also, those of you bashing fall break clearly haven't spent the last two months dodging ******* college students on those ******* pay-per-minute scooters (to which traffic laws apparently do not apply!). I don't care if I had to work, the three day reprieve was lovely.

Mike looks like a beast and nothing to slow it down. It just kinda of popped up and didn't get nearly the attention that Florence was getting but could be much, much worse.

I remember when Airwolf Sloot was a college student. And now here she is, hating the young like the rest of us. She's all growed up (sniff).

No kidding. One gal said it looks like it's going to be one of the fiercest she's ever covered, but she's probably just lying. Bunch of pussies if you ask me.

Nobody respects Mike.

-What are the best hotels near the Coca Cola Factory? Have a buddy who's taking a vacation there, trying to set him up nice.
