ESPN showed us last night with a 23% chance to beat Texas A&M. I think they had Missouri at 35%, and UGA at 13%.

Missouri sounds about right, but those other two are rather low, imo.

Also — there’s now video of the XXXTentacion ambush/murder. Saw it on my local online newspaper this morning. Just a great day to be an American.

Classic trap game for A&M. They where overlooking Arkansas in anticipation of the BIG game against the UK Wildcats.

Our kicker Butler scares the **** out of me. Missing a chip shot, and has the leg strength of high school kicker. He is no Austin McGinnis and i hope it does not come down to needing a 48 yard field goal for the win. I just do not trust him.

They should have open tryouts on campus tomorrow. I am somewhat sympathetic to kickers with accuracy issues - I chalk it up to coaches who see a big leg and assume they can fix accuracy. But why in the hell would you give a scholarship to a kid who's got the leg of an average high school kicker?

I had to back up our place kickers on my high school team for three years (for some reason those idiots always seemed to get hurt). Two of the three I backed up kicked in college - UNC and App State. 40 yards was my range on "live" scrimmage-type practice kicks; I can assure you that no one was looking at me for kicking even in D3. So what's our guys range - 45 yards?

We’re officially a REAL SEC football team!!!! Haven’t felt like this since 1977....yep, I’m old but damn invigorated!!
Keep improving and stay healthy...that’s all I’m asking
Finally get to see UK Football being talked about on sports shows and not just bloopers

Great day all around for coaches who would rather be right than do right.

When Bobby Petrino called that pass play on 1st down deep in FSU territory, Louisville had a 99% chance to win that game. Short of handing off and fumbling, this was the only way that 99% would go down, and they still did it. Bobby Petrino's buyout is $14 million.

Did James Franklin do the football equivalent of calling the final play for Sheray Thomas? 4th & 5, McSorley killing them in the air and on the ground all day, and you hand it off with the game on the line. They'll never see it coming, lol.

Unless we beat Georgia, our best win of the year is going to be Florida.

* The big difference in the first half last night was that TD Terry was throwing the ball well, in addition to our typically potent rushing attack. We’ve seen this in all five games — long stretches of bad offense. If we can’t run the ball, we’re gonna struggle. Thank god our defense is so legit. Saved our asses.

* What a great win. Once again, Allen and the rest of our D was just punishing. Bentley couldn’t do anything in the first half in particular.

* I THOUGHT KENTUCKY ONLY PLAYED BASKETBALL LOLOLOL [eyeroll]

* Football has some incredibly stupid rules to make the game safer, or so they say. In a lot of cases, it’s simply window dressing to give off the appearance they care more about safety than they really do.

Rule or not....Daniel’s hit and ejection were absolutely deserved. Behind the play, after the returner ran the ball out of bounds, he blew up a defenseless player who wasn’t looking at him, with a block that had no effect on the outcome of the play. That’s as dirty as it gets, and has no place in football.

* Not really sure what to make of Texas A&M, but I do know this — everything left on the schedule is winnable. This will be the toughest environment we see all year, even with those weirdo nancies gyrating in their all whites on the sidelines.

* Benny Snell’s love of Cole Cubilich :joy:

For those of you who were at the game, rather than watching on tv, he was all jacked up postgame and told Cole:

“I love seeing you! It’s ALWAYS i great day when I get to see you after the game!!!” :joy:

That dude just loves life.

* TD Terry is 5-0. Best start to a UK career since.....Mike Hartline. Of course.

It’s a 15 yd personal foul late hit on #56. That’s it. Was a clean hit. Ran his shoulder right through that losers heart, damn near killed him.

It’s fn awesome being real SEC. Our o-line and defense talk non stop **** all game. It’s hilarious.

So.. next man up for O left tackle.

Our pass coverage has been tremendous. Our guys break up a ton of passes I believe I saw/heard somewhere they were top 5 or something with pass break ups/ deflections. You could scratch off that TD for UsC had LJ had not miss timed that so poorly. One of the few mistakes they’ve made this yr. and nothing boneheaded from Westry for complete game is a success.

I hope you all had a blast man! Times like these are when I miss being back in Lexington. Hoping to a game later this year. Glad you all were there.

Hoping for the best bowl possible but the Citrus bowl wouldn’t make me mad. Orlando isn’t too far away.

We have a very small, but genuinely realistic chance to make the playoff. There, I said it. It’s obviously extremely unlikely, but I’ll be damned if I’m not going to enjoy this moment and dream a little big.

Kentucky football has Kentucky footballed me for a long time, so I am going to sip at the teet of optimism and ride this one out as long as I can.

Hey guys, let’s make sure to step our game up this week. That Colin Kaepernick thread is on fire, and we don’t want to get caught from behind.

TIA.

Anyone going to Texas A&M?

Been waiting for UK to play there since they joined the league in 2012. I'm sitting in UK section but will be hard to pull off much tailgating, etc. because I'll have my son and my dad with me on our annual trip.

I know a few real-world friends who are going, but just curious to see [if anyone here is / how many are] going to our first visit to the most remote outpost in the SEC.

The Last Frontier.

Kyle tucker isn’t a Kentucky fan and has no connections to the school or state unless I’m missing something.

how does he keep getting jobs covering Kentucky?

Man Saturday was fun. As always props to the Schems, I really like your new house more than the last one.

What a great turnout, good to see the crew.

I ain’t mad at ya Geese. Pumpkin was delicious.

Not a fan of the sous vides wings. Marcus bake some nuggets. Anth’s smoked wings are to die for.

Willy may have earned MVP with the late night pizza rolls. Well played sir. And he makes his bed, unlike messy Chad.

-I just don't see how a pay site works in these times for sports coverage. They have gobbled up a bunch of talent(pompous talent mostly) and I don't wish for anyone to lose their job. I just don't get it, the same info is available for free. The only sports pay site I visit is for gambol.

-Josh Allen is a f*cking cheat code.

-Saturday was an old school throw back **** show. Pretty sure the entire crew was hammered. Most likely because geese had a sweat shop style production line pumping out those shots.

-3 year olds can smell weakness. Pretty impressive. At least it got us up and moving around so I feel better than I should today.

-I mean, if we can figure out how to win this game... sky is the limit. At this point it's not crazy to think we can. Catching TAMU off a rivalry game in a big setting in which they struggled.

-Beat USC 5 times in a row. Lolz. That gives me an enormous amount of satisfaction.

-Love that we "struggled" a bit in the 2nd or at least felt that way. They all seemed to be pissed off we didn't boat race them. The swagger of this team is wild.
