That video reminds me of the (probably apocryphal) story about Billy Clyde getting drunk and calling Morakinyo "Big Black Member" Williams in the middle of the night to tell him that he was out of shape.

IIRC, I was in class at the Business/Econ building next door when the Transy heist transpired.

Reinhard was a really really nice and quiet kid from all accounts. Most of my buddies were PKT and I'm pretty sure he was a pledge at one time... Turned out his older brother actually moved in next door to me in Waterford a couple years ago so I'd see him occasionally swing by. Married some Columbian girl and I think is doing all kinds of art over there -- really talented. Now Lipka, from everyone I grew up with involved in the CKY soccer scene, said he *always* was a POS, on and off the field.

Don't know anything about the other two guys. Sorry.

Not trying to go all WilliamJ here, but I feel like you guys need to know that the Champion brand and Apex is quietly making a little bit of a comeback. Maybe you already knew, but I didn't. And I have to admit, I'm trying to act like I"m not excited because I don't want to kill the momentum. Icicle shorts on the horizon? :scream:

So, if somebody did something to you 30+ years ago that has “haunted you” your whole life to the point that you feel the need to write a letter to Congress about it... but then when they ask you to come talk about it, you refuse, and then get mad at them for “forcing you to remember a painful memory.”

I mean, WTF?

She wants law enforcement to talk to other potential witnesses before she testifies. If they don't, the Republicans will dismiss it as nothing more than a he said/she said because no one else will have corroborated any part of her story.

The Anita Hill FBI investigation took 3 days. Seems like something similar could be done here without delaying the hearing much more.

She didn’t have to speak about it publicly...they’ve offered her private meetings, even said they’d fly out to California for a meeting.

No meetings.

Would be interesting if the Senate subpoenaed her.

Just so I understand your point, let's recall that the accuser can't remember:

  1. The actual year the alleged assault occured.
  2. The location where the alleged assault occured.
  3. How she ended up where the alleged assault occured, or how she left.
  4. Who else was present during the alleged assault.
  5. Who she told about the alleged assault (though, according to WaPo, the accuser states she told nobody).
I'm curious exactly what in the hell the FBI will be able to investigate? Throw a dart at the yearbook and start calling people to see if they have any knowledge about some alleged sexual assault that may or may not have occured during a year that nobody can recall, and in a location that has yet to be described?

What could go wrong?
