Forgive the Joey softball here, but it’s pretty remarkable how bad 70’s sports venue architecture really was. I mean, what’s the most revered stadium/arena built that decade that is still in use today? Rupp must be up there and it’s pretty regrettable.
The stadiums had to match the uniforms...

* We all knew college athletics was big business, but good god...

Texas A&M is now #1. $148 million in revenue, $107 million profit, $41 million from the SEC alone. Kentucky didn't even make the top-25, which may be a good reminder for anyone who thinks we should just "open the checkbook" and go hire a big name coach.

* Nice, lengthy piece on KSR about Murray State. Here's the Cliff's Notes version: they're awful.

* Great timing for this game tomorrow, as the coaching staff is already talking about getting Snell and others some rest. I'd love to see Hoak get some major pt, and sling the ball around the field. Marcus. We already know what we've got with TT, so why not?

* My buddy Phil (owns the New York 100 miler I do in June) is attempting to set a trans-US world record.

Start in San Francisco. Currently in Gordon, Nebraska -- which sounds like a real hoot.

* It just really feels like a Jimmy John's for lunch kinda day.

* Your undefeated Cincinnati Bengals, ladies and gentleman.

* Camden Yards is now the 4th-oldest stadium in MLB. Fenway, Wrigley, Chavez Ravine -- then all the new ones. That's a LOT of poorly spent public funds. Thank you, ignorant taxpayers!

I know Kauffman, Oakland Coliseum, and Angels Stadium are older. Pretty sure Comiskey/US Cellular/whatever is too.

Maybe even get our NFL caliber TE some reps. Hell build a game plan consisting of TDT and CJ Conrad playing pitch and catch for the first 4 drives. We have to get CJ involved other then blocking.

That is eye opening. That day is coming. Maybe Mitch will pull a Joe B. and hire KP. That would give us at least 3 more years. But that day is coming.

I'll have to wait on Will Wade he's got that little cloud around him right now. Hopefully, just old guard getting pissed at losing a recruit to LSU. We'll see.

PTI going to be 0-2? Missed the stadium stat bigly.

I can't think of a young, brash, hotshot coach that is a great recruiter that has come in to the SEC West. Anthony Grant was quiet and well regarded but not a hotshot. Arkansas guys - nope. Auburn - only if you consider Pearl young. Mississippi schools - haha.

It's amazing how much quicker your beard turns grey than your hair. I didn't shave the week out West so it was the first time in a few years that I've gone more than a couple days. My **** has turned more salt than pepper with the quickness. Just a few stragglers on the head so I wasn't even concerned until I saw my beard.

-VA Prep schools. Growing up there its weird how they go in cycles on what is the "in" school. And they all were based in the Central VA area (Lynchburg, C-Ville, Richmond).
Athletically Fork Union was the tits in the 80's and 90's. Hargrave which was barely even known outside of the county is now an elite Prep FB school.

One bish in that article was making $70k and said she couldn't even pay her co-pays so she skipped doctor visits. What in the actual touch?

Also, the conspiracy of silence around teachers admitting that they, in reality, don't do jack **** all summer except things they want to would make the mafia blush. All of the comments are some variation of "lol real cute that you think we get 4 months of the year off! When you add up all of hours we barely get 2 weeks! And we don't get the whole summer off anyway we have CE and planning!!!"

Scrolls through my wife's Facebook friends (90% teachers) and sees daily updates during the summer of them day drinking and sitting by a pool.

Some of you are seriously underestimating how much the Pinterest Life costs. It's not a choice. It's a necessity,
