So Rogue got plowed by some guy named Rick?
No, I was actually being facetious. But Rick Springfield was in the bar a couple days ago and shew. Guy had a flannel shirt tucked into Adidas windbreaker pants and white new balances.

Your post read like you were downplaying a cat 2 hurricane, bragging that you'd ridden one out and weren't impressed. I rode out the north side of cat 2 Isabel when she hit and I'm pretty sure NO ONE was sleeping through it like any other night. Cat 2's can be devastating, particularly if they're large and slow, like Florence.

I don't lurk GYERO for posts like this. We get the point.

I'll tell you what makes me walk with more purpose, is when UL football sucks. Bowl projections this early, are absolute ****. But they all have UL going to the "Bad Boy Mower Gasparillo Bowl" and the Military Bowl in Syracuse. And the fans are livid. Talk radio here is gold right now.
Absolute worst fans in America, UL football fans.f

As an alum, I'm sickened to find out that East Jessamine does in fact have a swim team.

With that, I assume that we can whip some *** in archery.

The owner rode out Hurricane Matthew in 2016.

My dead grandpa nicknamed all the grandkids he liked (there were 14 of us).
-Boo
-Swampy
-Miss Mudd
-Ernie
-Bones

Those didn’t stick as adults but those were good nicknames. My grandpa was awesome. He cussed like crazy, threw his slippers at the TV when there was a politician or a Jeopardy contestant he despised, and made me watch nature shows and Justin Wilson’s Cajun cooking before there was a Food Network or a Discovery Channel. He also drank 12+ bottle of Falls City a day.

At a freshman game at South Warren and they can go straight to hell. They’ve been blaring Sandstorm for 5 minutes.

MCF was nicknamed "root" which is actually much cooler than "lil". Also, this post dug up some deep hidden emotional issues I'm going to have to push back down with the help of scotch.

-Ridding out a hurricane sounds way cooler than it is. Rain, wind, flooding, everything shut down, likely losing electricity for at least a few days.

-MB2 today for some employee appreciation aggressive go kart driving. Those f*ckers fly and the wrecks are intense. Belive we ended up with a broken finger and broken rib but those dudes had a damn blast.

-Worship September and Early October but I start getting anxious after that. The never ending dark, cold, wet bs 18-20 weeks after that are daunting.

-I had noticed a certain MFP friend running recently but was waiting for him to out himself. Hopefully not spitting or taking it to seriously while neglecting his family due to vanity.

-wearable gets a thumbs down from me. The HR monitor is why I bought it and it's trash. Other than allowing me to see my text message .5 seconds faster than picking my phone up, which i pretty much had to do in order to respond anyway, I don't see much of a benefit. I guess if you had the LTE maybe. Sending it back. I'll try again when they arent so clunky.

Gocart track looks fun.

You should try driving Ferrari’s, Lambo’s, and Porsche’s on a real race track.

RUPP was originally supposed to be three-levels, hold 25,700 and look like this.

“This is something nobody has ever seen outside this home,” says Host, who helped spearhead the building of Rupp Arena in the mid-1970s. “There’s only one of these (sketches). (The pictured arena) was (designed with) 25,700 seats. But we couldn’t fit that (size an arena) on the site. That’s why it was scaled back.”

I'm sure there are parents who can't control their children and boarding school is a last option, but I think abandoning a 13-14 year old child to the tender mercies of strangers is basically inviting drug abuse, sexual abuse, and general dysfunction into your child's life.

It’s amazing how easily rogue can get people fired up with his posts

I can’t run, just can’t do it, never have been able to. Can’t fathom how someone can run a marathon, seems completely impossible to me. At the gym I prefer the rotating staircase machine and the always masculine elliptical. Helps keep me at my current fitness goal of “NOT OBESE”.

Was in Savannah and tybee island for Labor Day. Talked to my wife about how nice it would be to own a place right on the beach but then how stressful if a hurricane hit. Can’t imagine, hope everyone there is safe.

So if we start 3-0 what are the chances of a top 25 ranking?

I’m betting that kind of go cart racing with your buddies is a thousand times more fun than driving a car around in circles with a leash on you.

Not in circles, and there are no leashes. The instructors actually push you to drive faster than you’d think.

One of my buddies had part of his bachelor party at the huge racetrack between Etown and Louisville and that’s the most fun thing I’ve done at any of the bachelor parties with which I’ve been involved. Felt bad for a few of the random teenagers that got on the track with us.

Really cool story and pic... and that’s a comically awful arena.

Forgive the Joey softball here, but it’s pretty remarkable how bad 70’s sports venue architecture really was. I mean, what’s the most revered stadium/arena built that decade that is still in use today? Rupp must be up there and it’s pretty regrettable.
