I don't know how we screw the pooch. I just know we do.
Expect things to go wrong, so you are not disappointed when they do. Always served me well as a Kentucky football fan. Until tonight.

Not ready to change that philosophy yet. But I;d welcome the opportunity to grow into an optimist.

But for tonight, I'm enjoying the lack of disappointment.

Huh, I was actually in second grade drinking bags of milk the last time this happened. Good on you Piglet, good on you.

Never thought we could recruit the type of OL to bully SEC foes. I always thought we needed to be a little gimmicky to win games like this. Hell, we clean up the turnovers and actually catch ints thrown our way and it’s a butt kickin.

Need to let this sink in.

You haven't lived as a UK fan in 2018 until you've:

1) Witnessed and celebrated the end of the 31-year L streak to Florida football at Bigg Blue Martini with TMFH and Fireballs, then

2) Witnessed TMFH recognize James Wiseman walking through the Radisson lobby with his posse of two non-descript people, and then watch TMFH chase after them out the door and turn the corner on Broadway, yelling after "James" into a severe T-storm.

After last years' debacle where I threatened to fight (and for the handful of you who have encountered me in person...LOL) two people at the bar who, in the final seconds of the game, became vociferous Florida fans after being silent for the entire game, several coworkers decided they were onboard for watching me watch the game tonight.

I feel they were greatly disappointed until, after the game, I appeared with the *just in case* bottle of bourbon from my vehicle and redeemed myself.

Many thanks to that little voice who tells me every Saturday morning "Oh f*ck it, they can pull this off." Once in a generation, you are correct.

Yard work all day, decided to just take it easy and have a few for the heartbreaking loss and go to bed early on a Saturday.

After only 6-8 during the game I’ve had about 14 since. Along with a couple Ashton Maduro’s (the clown will appreciate). Listened to the KSR post game for the first time ever. Honestly lose the callers and just analyze the game would be my vote.

UT fans have to be 80% just doing it to say they are fans. I was at the grocery during their game and 60% of the store had orange on, yetvtheir effing game was being played at that moment. It’s like they are fans to fit in to say they are fans.

Also, as said coworkers pointed out, the fact that I don't have an email in my .uky email account asking for monies yet is egregious. Whatchu doin UK development...IT ACTUALLY MIGHT HAVE WORKED TONIGHT.

I mean, Piglet has beaten UT, UL, Spurrier, Florida, and overcome an unsubstantiated/baseless personal attack during his tenure. His players may act like undisciplined jackasses sometimes, and I have probably been a little to judgemental and critical of him (like I know how to run a FBS program), but that man has earned my respect. Bless him!

One part of me woke up this morning wondering how much cosmic karma we burned through last night, and the horrific, gut wrenching manner in which the football gods will make us pay later this season.

Then the other part of me told me to STFU and enjoy the richly rewarding life of a UK football fan.
