The Mummies were fantastic last night. I mean, if a bunch of bad *** musicians wanna dress up and bring the funk, I’m all in. Took one of the owners of Belle’s with me, had a blast. If you can’t have fun with that, you suck at life.

Middlefork for dinner was solid. Beef tartar and duck breast Ftw.

Poker Run festivities at lees ford today. Good lord. It’s like if you buy million dollar speed boats they all come standard issue with Strippers. I’m sure some of those girls just paying their way through school...

Dinner at my buddy’s new Lake house tonight. Surf and turf, chips, margs and no f’s given.

Poker run tomorrow will be insane.

Poker Run down here is my favorite “event” week for sure. Amazing to see billionaires just throwing cash around and living life to the fullest. Tons of hot gals parading around in bikinis, guys blaring music docked up next to the bar in multi-million dollar speed boats hopping boat to boat slamming beers, trading tequila and jamo shots all day, black card tabs in the double digits, just getting the job done to be honest.

Some of those guys have lived that way their whole life which is pretty incredible. Most are super cool as well.

Max, I’m looking at getting a 3 and 5 year old in and out of the barber shop prior to bring at a U8 soccer game at 9:40 all the way out at Pendery Park, which will probably occur monsoon notwithstanding.

These RIP threads are awful

My wife is going to a “minimilist mother’s group” meeting tomorrow. My daughter is 18 months old and we don’t have room for all her toys anymore and my wife told me today that she she wants to buy an entirely new crib for a whole new nursery for our second one due in February. She also wants to throw away the lawn furniture we have for a new set next year since we’ve had ours for a whopping three years. She should definitely be leading the group.

I got groceries last week and the list had grass fed organic milk for a minimalistic 5.99 a gallon compared to the store brand .99 cent. I asked my wife if we could get the store brand and she was adamant we couldn’t. Now granted those grass fed organic cows looked happy but how bad could the store bought cows be? Well I did some research and the results were eye opening



Looks like 5.99 a gallon it is!

I’ve met a handful of dentists that insist on being called doctor, but it’s rare, at least with the ones I know. Most know their proper place in society - to scare the **** out a large portion of the poplulation and be considered too dumb to actually be legitimate doctors.

-i love my dentist. Dr. Jimmy Hill of West Liberty, Ky. Played basketball at the University of Detroit for coach Dick Vitale. Has great stories. Started going to him when i was 10...and now hes taking care of my kids teeth.

Thanks Ron. I’ve never known how I “should” refer to my dentist, and it always causes me a bit of apprehension every six months during the 25 minutes after the hygienist with the big boobs finishes and I’m waiting for Jared to walk in and tell me everything looks great.

You have to be a prick to insist on being called doctor. But you have to be an absolute insufferable prick if you insist on being called doctor (and have it printed on your boarding ticket) because you got a PhD. If you are among your colleagues and students, maybe you have a point. But as for the rest of the world? Eff the effin eff off, you pretentious acehole.

How do you top that? By then pulling the most douchebag move of all: Playing the victim card and insisting it's not about your ego, it's about sexism. What an appallingly horrible person.

The first time I realized people were calling me "Mister" and "sir" was a real ballbreaker, tbh. I can't imagine encouraging people to do it.

I would never call my dentist by his first name. It would be Dr. ____ unless he told me to call him by his first name or it was a childhood friend.

Same rule for doctorate’s. My kid’s principal has her EdD. It would be rude to call her Mrs Owens in a school setting.

Now meeting someone in a social setting or outside the confines of their profession and they insist on Doctor (MD included) GFY. You had better be 70+ or a brilliant surgeon.

FOH, PhD’s. Doctors deal with life and death. PhD’s cling to a renaissance academic title because the stakes in your life are otherwise so small.
