Got my dates mixed up Sloot. Just remember South Carolina and you’ll avoid any further confusion.

I think selfmade men intimidate Anth a bit. He never visits me either. That’s why I surround myself with confident, secure friends like you, BBdK, PTI and Jerome these days.

Always a gracious host, but he won’t do anything else unless it’s set up perfectly & convenient for him...always been that way.

Had this discussion just last week. Still a good text buddy tho.

Congrats, Boat, on slimming down to human status. I, however, am swelling up like the blueberry girl in Willy Wonka.

These ridiculous days of sitting at a desk for 12-18 hours and the boss bringing in pizza/fast food for lunch and dinner is killing me. I'm staring at a 20 hour day today. In a few weeks I should be able to get back to a normal routine and go back to being just fat instead of Lorenzenesque.

Not having the ol' home gym up and running doesn't help, either. Which brings us to... ***BASEMENT UPDATE***

Carpet gets installed tomorrow. New sectional arrives Monday (other one wouldn't fit down the steps - our open floorpan has a touching column near the door to go downstairs that makes things extremely difficult). Bar goes in 9/18. Then I will be up and running. Other than some touch up work here and there, everything else is done.

Gonna be a game changer for this guy.

* Paris in 2 months. Eek.

* Thinking about taking Buckeye Marge to see Bruno Mars in Nashville for a anniversary present.

* Back to work. Carry on.

That's rich.

Adrian should head on down for the Mummies tonight since he's so flexible.

Two-week warning to Rainier. Ran into some dudes who did it last week. Their guidance: spend less time hiking trails like Jefferson Memorial (which is a *****) and just do the stairmaster with a heavy pack. I now feel like I'm cramming for a test - that didn't always work out so well.

I mean, I still love Anth, but you have to be aware when you're dealing with a narcissistic personality disorder. It's not a two way street.

The DSM-5 indicates that persons with NPD usually display some or all of the following symptoms, typically without the commensurate qualities or accomplishments:

  1. Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from other people
  2. Fixated on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
  3. Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people and institutions
  4. Needing continual admiration from others
  5. Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
  6. Exploitative of others to achieve personal gain
  7. Unwilling to empathize with the feelings, wishes, and needs of other people
  8. Intensely envious of others, and the belief that others are equally envious of them
  9. Pompous and arrogant demeanor

9/9, way to go buddy.

^ I don't see Anth as #6 or #7. He's a good person.

-Do they say "Here comeeeee THE MUMMIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" (loser crowd goes wild) to open each concert?

Guarantee they do. [sick]

I would still come if invited just to hang with a friend, but I have Church on Thursday evenings.

Recent concert attendees have described Here Come the Mummies as: "What the hell was that?", "I mean, I guess the first few double entendres were funny sorta. But, idk, got old pretty quick." and this rave review from a lovely lady :eyes: "I felt very uncomfortable the whole time."

Nobody gonna mention the mass shooting in Fountain Square?

That's what Maxxx was talking about on the last page.

I picked a horrible day to leave my phone at home. My wife works down there. I finally heard from her and she is fine.

These mass shootings have got to stop.

Now is NOT the time to politicize this, Willy!

Hey, I didn't say how to do it. Take all the guns away or give everyone guns to shoot back, I don't care. I don't think either of those will work, but smarter people than me on both sides do. Whatever works.

Just enough is enough, man. It needs to stop.

Setup looks incredible as a sports bar.

Ask them why they are being bags about posting a menu. Should be item #1 for any new restaurant as it pertains to their online presence.
Because our full menu isn’t ready to be prepared so we are operating on a limited menu. By next week we will have full menu and then post

Alright, KSBar snackdown.

Place looks great Matt. Tin Roof feel but UK fan on steroids. I like it. Ton of beers on tap. Plethora of Tv’s. I see your ticker board.

Limited menu, I understand. I think the food was on par with Tin Roof. Wings don’t sniff Rooster’s, but not bad. Tried the brisket, which was better than I expected. Maybe talk to the kitchen about trimming some of the fat off so it’s not 50/50 meat.

There is some tall blonde that looks to be doing training/orientation that is :fire:. She could be your Kindly. You probably know who I speak of.

Nice work. I’m sure the place will be packed by all the Billie Joe Wildcats.

Trip out to the Gorge was a blast per usual. That last night is a struggle to get through after 4 straight days of treating your body like an amusement park. I mixed in a lot more edibles this year so the next morning wouldn't be so miserable.

Mid 80's during the day, perfect for bocce ball down by the river and relaxing. High 40's at night, perfect for freezing your *** off because you packed too light a sleeping bag.

Too bad I missed Terry Touchdown's initial step on the march to the Heisman.

-Yeah, ol' Anth is a narcissist. Certainly nailed that take. Not meant to offend but I'm not a lake, hot tub or ****** bands guy. Have no idea the specific time this changed, but unless it a special occasion, I have nothing for bars especially at night. I'm great bellying up to a sports bar but even Belle's.. no thanks.

Absolutely worship day drinking though.

-Plans for the new Ruby's look unreal. Said he's intent on making it his best location due to the long wait.

-Thinking of talking WS into a KSBar trip tonight. Really want to check it out and the pictures look dope.

-Pretty much have to see McCartney this time around. Likely my last real good opportunity. $250/per... shew. Going to hit up a few key vendors with hints first.

-I actually really like Andy Barr, absolute can not stand the face or voice of the other chick nor # of times she lets us know she was a combat pilot. But for f*ck sake I wish they would both just GTFO.

-First Polo experience tomorrow. Should be interesting.
