I get the LOGE upgraded and chairback experience, but put me in the end zone or in a decent bench seat on the sideline for the following, both good and bad.

- Win over Alabama
- Tim Couch vs. Peyton Manning (even though a blowout, that was pretty big time)
- The Bluegrass Miracle
- Jared's INT vs. Florida in the 4Q sealing a come from ahead loss
- Stevie Got Loose
- Win over #1 LSU
- Randall Cobb vs. Auburn
- The Mike Hartline experience

I mean, those were some good times. Smuggled in bourbon. Watered down diet coke. Stale hot dog.

Lower the ticket prices Mitch, and people will come.

Meh, I tease but really care *nothing* about a 'premium area' as described above where I can leave the live game-action to go pay admission, wait in massive lines & then stand in a crowded corner and drink a beer before exiting. Halftime will be a nightmare in that place. :100points:

Beer stadium wide/in seats? Sure, I'm all about it.

I'll stick w/ my renegade booze, which I'm Lifetime Undefeated at bringing into the stadium & enjoying.

So we have to give fans a reason to want to come to the game, whether it's an experience, a tailgate experience before the game where they can fellowship with their friends, where they get in there and there's a competitive, enjoyable environment, where there's music, there's good play on the field and at the end of the day, there's a safe way to get home.

[sick]

The only people who use that word are youth ministers and teetotalers. Big red flag. I highly doubt a great game day experience will ever be accomplished with him in charge of making it happen.

:joy:

At the end of the day, folks just want a safe way to get home - where they can drown their sorrows with cheap booze and separate themselves from the nightmare they had to experience at The Krogers Field. Amen.

Look, say what we all want (except 73 and me) to say about UofL, but Vince Tyra gets it from a fan's perspective. Heard him the other day and his #1 priority is do what TF they, his customers, want him to do. He's lowered concessions, opened the parking lot up early again for tailgating, offering beer specials prior to kickoff to get folks in their seats.

Pretty crazy approach to try and make fans happy.

Listen that’s all well and good for an ACC product but last time I checked we are a charter member of the SEC, emphasis on “south”, emphasis on separating certain classes of people (the riches) from other classes of people (the poors) especially when it comes to food/drink service.

Tailgating- Years ago, paved over a grass lot by VA hospital, took it away and gave to Dr's who don't use it on weekends. Moved over to tennis courts, lasted 2 years before not permitted there....I now pay for a spot in one of the lots but they need to be like LSU, park wherever you can find a spot and tailgate.

:joy: Did Mitch write this article about the Shame Shacks last year?

The line of 1865 Houses creates a unique community with a neighborhood atmosphere that truly allows Kentucky fans to enjoy game day in a safe and family friendly environment. The tailgate is often a bigger event than the game itself, and meaningful relationships form based on the common bond of legendary Kentucky football.

-lowering prices wont do it. Most games you can essentially go for free with little effort. Selling booze, wifi, shorten duration, better promotions, etc. Also, winning.

-I too miss the old seats. We had tons of fun there. Would've never moved had they not reseated, we were offered numerous times, but once they broke up the crew marcus go where they sell booze.

-Very glad Urban finally exposed as the scumbag he really is. That was so Pitino.

- indeed I got popped randomly on the way in once. After like 10-15 years of walking in with as much as a 12 pack this dude makes me empty my pockets. "I'm like are you kidding? I've done this 100 times." Was in complete shock.

-UGA game circa 04, we were losing 187-3 or some **** and everyone pirate drunk, cops came to confiscate our booze. They were  at the sight. Probably 20+ crushed beers, several empty travlers, stuff everywhere. Let us stay though.

-Terry... leggo. All In, Stoops troops, Groove St, Rise, etc.

-DGAF about drinking during UKBB home games. The new setup sounds weird. Just sell booze or don't.

Not even hiding it anymore, huh? Should make that long winded January post justifying attendance at a ULBB game much shorter.

Live sports for the common man are getting less and less atttracive to be completely honest.

*scratches out way too large check for basketball season tickets*

The Goonies pirate ship is docked down by Joe's Crab Shack.

In Shawshank, how did Andy put the poster back on the wall after escaping?
