- you can't just delay programming???Why no TV? Because of lighting? I’ve watched UK play in SEC West gyms for over 40 years. I’m built for this ****.
You would think a venue that hosts the Battle for Atlantis every year at Thanksgiving - 12 basketball games in 3 days - could keep the lights on and the TV cameras rolling for our little Mickey Mouse venture.
You would think.
Whatever. They played well. Hurry up and beat us and stuff.

Man, the elitist UK fans that went will be bragging for sure now.
I’m starting to think that maybe some players who aren’t great as freshmen can possibly improve in their sophomore year.
I think we might be pretty good at basketball this year.
You can get cute with your comps and I’m sure Geesefeeder will, but Herro is another Booker- 6’6”, long, smooth, great feel for the game, perfect stroke and underrated by the gurus for some unknown reason. Kid needs to fire 7-8 triples a game and get as many minutes as anyone.
Travis's rebounding alone makes our front court better than last year.
Yeah, there’s a lot to like with this group.
I’m pretty impressed. 9 point dog (assuming KSR was right) and won by 20+
Lots of really good pieces- not the least of which are some legit wings, which we haven’t had an abundance of through the years.
If anything is a weakness, it’s probably rim protection.
Quickley has 12 rebounds through 2 games. I love guards who hit the glass.
If we can get Travis to play with aggression (and I think he will), there will not be another NCAA team that can keep up with us.
so what you are saying is he will go ice cold in March and essentially disappear?

You called him a Rip Hamilton/Sam Jacobsen/Doron Sheffer hybrid in a text message two hours ago- don’t make me post screenshots.
Errbody else- go ahead and @ me.
Is it a crime to state the obvious? Herro’s the 2nd coming of Rex in almost every way imaginable. He’ll have his veritable pick of all the African American ladies on campus he would like. Get that kid a personalized Camaro and a gold rope chain. Have the barber give him some whitewalls and lessgo
- How many levels of Jon Rothstein are you on?
- I don't know, two or three, I guess.
- You are like a little baby, watch this.
Would have gone with Tate George/Voshon Lenard/Ben Gordon if I wanted to go with the UConn/Minnesota/UConn route but that's just me oh crap here he comes
(Booker's fine)

F*ck off.
It may be August 10 but it’s things like this that can can separate good vs great teams.
People try entirely too hard to come up with new comparisons.
- This team will likely be like ‘98- bunch of weapons but no real stars.
- He’s been quiet but I like what we’ve seen from PJ. Looks more athletic and his drives are tighter.
- Travis is a honyok- a worker, a plodder, stays the course.
