I went to a Mariners-Angels game last year the same day Antifa took to the streets against a right-wing "prayer group". Both events occurred in Seattle. It was free to attend the political event and cost about $40/ticket to see two middle-of-the-pack baseball teams play a meaningless August tilt (to be fair, it was Edgar Martinez day).
  • Around 500 people showed up for the free protest
  • 43,199 showed up for the expensive baseball game
The protest became national news and proof that America is disintegrating and we are tracking towards a bigger conflict. No big news from the media about the game, even though Trout did strike-out 3 times.

I don't know about chief's Civil War theories, but I find it extremely hard to believe that guy hoops it up with Jason Witten.

How'd we let him get away with that name drop?
We've covered this before. I don't hoop it up with him. I help coach a school basketball team which his son and my nephew are a part of.

Tried to make lemonade with the “BEST MONTH FOR CIVIL WAR” post but looks like everyone agrees April is ideal.

Mother:

The battle has been raging all day in the Target parking lot and I am unable to ascertain whether anything has been gained. The liberals have laid siege to the Starbucks and I fear our latte supply is lost. They are unscrupulous bastards - playing our fair national anthem day and night, knowing that we are compelled to stand and remove our helmets - and render ourselves an easy target - each time. The Colonel believes that we can demoralize our foe something fierce by taking the Whole Foods, so we prepare for an assault as I write to you. It shan't be easy. The liberals are unbathed and reek of patchouli. Pray for me.

I’m pretty sure Netflix would pick that up for a 30 minute comedy series.

Portlandia ain’t got **** on The Wings of War: Suburban Siege.

My dearest sister Crescent,

Do not be fooled by what reports you may have heard back home- this conflict is far from over and I fear more bloodshed will be the price due for our freedoms. We took the Whole Foods but now find ourselves pinned down. The damn Reds have the temerity to use actual guns and have infiltrated our hold at Starbucks by using fake names on their orders. Their ridiculous fake mustache disguises are, in hindisight, a perfect match to our Brooklyn based comrades. Yesterday Pvt. Topher was patrolling the perimeter on his fixie when he was utterly and totally “owned” by the Reds. We rushed to offer aid but could only offer comfort as he lay mortally owned as the enemy sped off, truck nuts flapping in the wind... War is hell (if I believed in the religious dogma establishing such a place).

Why would the liberals lay siege to the Starbucks? Aren't those known fortified left-wing positions?

The Red Army laced the avocado toast with laxatives, then cut off access to all gender neutral bathrooms.
