Speaking of social media outrage, how about Josh Hader's tweets from when he was 17 getting released during the All-Star game last night? N-Bombs, Gafs, #MeToo offenses, the works.

I'll give people a pass for saying stupid crap when they are 17, but what freaking planet does this guy live in where he never once thought to himself, "wow, a lot of people seem to get in hot water over tweets, maybe I should go back and delete the tweets where I just said 'KKK' or perhaps the one where I said 'I'm a triply n-word'"?

1. If you have a modicum of fame, delete everything you've ever posted on social media. This seems easy.

2. What I really hate is how these things get brought up. USA Today dragged the stuff Donte DiVincenzo posted on Twitter when he was 14 like 2 seconds after he got Final Four MVP and their story said something like "Controversial tweets by Donte DiVincenzo have surfaced." First off, that's passive voice so you're already doing journalism wrong. Secondly, "have surfaced?" You surfaced them. Get pumped.

While that Alabama college student walking to work thing is heartwarming and all, the suspicious of 19-year old college kids side of me believes the guy was partying with his buddies (it was Friday night), got drunk, had his ride fall through for the next morning, and then said "eff it - I'm walking", perhaps even as a challenge. This, if true, would be quite hilarious considering they gave him a car and raised $50K for him on GoFundMe.
