Basically everything from labor to pharmacy to radiology to some legal services are being replaced by automation and algorithms.

You can blame immigration and Obama and Trump and such all you want but we’re on a collision course with the spaceship from Wall-E basically. The only variable is time.

-Been working on a 11' live edge black walnut table for about 5 weeks. About there. 1st coat of poly on the top, 2 more to go. Buff out the base and hope to get her in the house by Sunday. Thing is unbelievable, the grain and color on walnut is hard to beat. Not a huge fan of home maintenance but have enjoyed learning about the woodwork basics. 2nd big project and really took the lead on this one.

-80/B$'s kid is now giving G hand-me-downs. He was born 7 months after George. Most of them are still too big.

-After a hell of a run at work, nice little 3 day. Weather forecast looks really mild. Hopefully catch my breathe a bit before Bahamas. Good to get some family time in and knock out a few things around the new place.

-New homeowners at our old place are in for quite a surprise the first tailgate of the season. Most everyone knows the location has moved but almost certain a really intoxicated person is going to be posted up on their back deck after that first night game. Those crews always are a mixed bag, sometimes we had know idea who the people even were. Probably need to have a sign made for the gate. Also, he's Canadian so I'm hoping he doesn't shot anyone.

-TDF in Roubaix :raised_hands: So much belly aching b/c it's a brutal stage but man it delivered.

-Carryover, reminder the new law requiring drivers to pass bikers using at least 3' clearance. Really great move for the State.

-Book queue: Just finished About a Boy, moving on to Gulp. (big fan of Mary Roach), I'm a Stranger Here Myself, then settle in on Johnstown Flood or The Path Between Seas. That should about take me through 18.

Also, my advice to young couple is get your pre-baby bucket list out and knock that sucker out. You can obviously travel after but it just becomes a lot more.
Nah. Pump that kid out as soon as possible after the honeymoon so you'll have something to force you to stay together in case the marriage goes sour. Like a fairytale!

Twitter is a mad house right now. Can some of you liberals tell us how upset you are right now?

Made the mistake of engaging in a Facebook “conversation” where somebody posts a very inflammatory article, throws their stones, but then deletes every comment that is damaging to their argument.

Typical left BS.

Did get a kick out of being told they deleted my remarks because they were “violent comments.”

My violent comment was “get a life.”

Anyhow, sadly I really began to entertain the notion we may be heading to civil war.

Hope not.

- Not trying to be a hater but good gawd stay-at-home moms are terrible at social media.

- Who Dey fans- what’s the best way to grab tickets? Should I buy now or will I be able to find them cheaper closer to gameday?

- Hmm - didn’t know BBdK actually hosted friends anymore. I haven’t received an invite since 2009 despite being his best friend.

As an American whole, we are much, much too lazy for a Civil War. Just about the only thing that may cause one would be cutting off our internet access. We could execute babies in the street, put minorities in chains, and take every single gun from Americans, but not one of those would create the as visceral a reaction as taking away someone's internet.

To be fair, things have not been the same since the Drago/Balboa fight in Vancouver, USSR. Even though the USA whipped that Soviet Swede’s *** on their home turf, the iconic “I/you/we can change“ speech sent the wrong message when there was a clear opening to assert our dominance.

Rocky should have invented the “suck it” crotch chops right then and there, given double middle fingers to the Soviet diplomacy sitting in their cozy box seats, double shotgunned about 4 Bud-diesels, and hopped on a 4-wheeler occasionally spitting on random peasants as he rolled out of the building. Really let those folks know what time it was.

IMHO, of course.

Well, to be fair, they weren't actively tampering with our elections (that we know of) back then.

False.

The moral is that Trump is a bottom ***** for Vlad Putin and if folks are fine with that, cool. It's all about team colors and what not.

I thought you libs were supposed to be the tolerant accepting type? Yet you and Chase like to paint Trump in a very graphic, demeaning homosexual manner.

Seems hypocritical.

Shouldn’t he be “so brave?”

I bet Howard Dean is furious and dumbfounded that a guy like Trump can get elected when he was basically shunned for getting a little too excited at a rally one time.
