I don’t have direct tv, but every time I try to “negotiate” with TWC/Spectrum they basically tell me STFU or we’re raising your bill $10 a month. I just stfu and smh. No clue how that cable haggling stuff works.

YouTube TV is $40 a month and Sling is $25-40 a month. Direct TV knows it’s competition unless they dropped it to those prices in reality did you really save anything?

Gosh, krazykats, I never really thought of it that way, but I guess you’re right. Saving $900 while still having access to 6 billion channels for my family at the click of one remote doesn’t really mean anything at all. What an astute observation.

They don’t call you “the best poster on GYERO” for nothin!

GYERO is in its usual summer swoon, but please not the cable /streaming device of the month / direct tv debate for the 100th time.

Simple if you watch a lot of tv , get direct tv / cable. If not, just get some gd rabbit ears and HD antenna and enjoy.

-World Cup has been absolutely awesome. I'll miss it. No soccer ball, but I do enjoy the WC more w/ each passing year as I understand the game a little more. More than anything though, it's just cool AF having a major sporting event on at work for what seems like month.

Scottish Open providing some relief this week though, sucker is on all morning, and has a field comparable to a WGC event.

-Hosting ABH & TurboK this weekend for our :golf: Invitational, should be interesting. [cheers]

-Belated thanks to SAE for introducing me to Camryn Baylee -- good lord, that has to be the baddest chick around, and seems like a total sweetheart as well...that's the gym you need to join in Lex, Anth. Definitely recommend a follow on her IG to all my GYERO friends. #GoCards

-Kentucky Boys killing the Summer League, that's actually been pretty fun to watch & follow. How about the Magic shutting down Briscoe? Ha, dude got his contract & showed all he needed to show, couldn't be happier for that kid.

...speaking of KY Boys, what a week for Dontaie Allen. Basically picked up an offer from every school in the country not named Kentucky/Duke/UNC/Kansas. Gonna be really pissed if we don't make him a PRIORITY real soon.

-Goliath Season 2 wasn't as fulfilling as Season 1, but love that show & especially Billy Bob's character.

-Summer schedule kicks into high gear starting today. Think I have just 1 weekend of 'nothing' between now and October.

Goliath S2: half way in, I thought it was even better than S1. Then it just got super-weird, stretched way too long for what actually happened, and kind of fizzled out.

I take solace in the apparent fact that they have set the stage for additional CZN(s) with the same villains, so I get that they're playing the long game.

But in the meantime, as BBdK said, the characters themselves are fascinating and very watchable, no matter what is happening plot-wise.

Marisol Silva = [smoke] Also, bring back Danny Loomis and Tom Wyatt.

Look, I think John Scnhatter deserves a whole heap of **** at the moment (and believe he's gotten enough, frankly), but people in this city and state need to recognize that Papa John's is merely the company he created. Penalizing and vilifying the actual corporation that is, you know, based here, employs 1,100+ Kentuckians, and from all accounts is a great corporate citizen, is cutting off the nose to spite your face.

Oh almost forgot Patty Solis-Papagian. [laughing]

That whole running gag with nobody getting her name cracks me up.

Correct as you may be, you’re essentially trying to lecture a group of people who enthusiastically buy mini chicken sandwiches to show their support for traditional marriage.

People, by and large, are really dumb.

I'm no soccerball, but the World Cup is awesome.
Not really sure why anyone cares if someone else is a fan. Let them have some fun, jeez Walt Kowalski. Seeing a soccer fan once a day every 4 years has to be rough on you bub.

Can you imagine if someone said, “Can’t wait for March to be over so everyone can stop watching this stupid basketball tournament.”?

Now the guys from Dubuque that show up at the bar at 11am with a Liverpool “kit” on and agonize over every set piece like they grew up a block from the stadium can get bent.

- YouTube TV subscriber myself and was watching at work. Did get an email from them yesterday apologizing for the soccer outage and contact Apple to get a refund.

- Billy Jack. The Tuesday or Wednesday after that run we were sitting at the bar beside Joe Bologna's (Not sure what it was then, maybe 3's but it changed names about every year). ESPN did their plays of the week and that was one, then I hear "Holy Ish, thats me". BJH is sitting 2 barstools down knocking back some domesticos.

- Anyone ever go out to Uno's on Richmond Rd back in the day? Was a guarantee that they would never card.

UNOs - best Chicago pizza not named Lil C’s Deep Dish

“Mini chicken sandwiches” >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ANYTHING that stupid hillbilly papa wop has ever thought about creating

I hope papa Johns goes away tonight and all their employees/crap are absorbed by Lil C’s - a real American company with real values.

* Been getting all ***** Eye this week. Dropped about a grand on home furnishings. About $600 on bedding alone. Pinterest. The works.

* Most agonizing part of my day -- where should I meet my buddy for lunch?

* Kellen Winslow, Jr. Yikes.

http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/...-ex-nfl-player-charged-in-2003-rape-teen.html

Least discriminatory rapist ever, imo.

* Annual Hotter than Hell, Dusk to Dawn event on Saturday. 8pm to 6am. 10 hours, 4 mile loops. Most miles wins. Shooting for 48.

* The absolute worst hell hole on earth for going #2 --> a Pilot truck stop. Lord have mercy, what that plumbing must go thru.

* Tyler Childers top 5, in no particular order.....

- Feathered Indian
- Messed Up Kid
- Country Squire
- Redneck Romeo
- Born Again

just missing the cut = Whitehouse Road, Universal Sound

* Great BIlly Jack highlight. We lost that game, if I'm not mistaken.

I remodeled this past winter and had budgeted for all new furniture and decor. Completely underestimated the decor part, by a **** ton. Bedding, custom blinds, paintings, and other general stuff added up with the quickness. Could have went the man cave route and just bought all UK stuff but wanted to look like a damn adult. Didn't pintrest but did get some cool ish off of Etsy.

Funny how UofL is going to throw a fit over the use of a word that a controversial donor used but real racism like targeting black youths (and not a single white kid )with ghetto whores to get them to play basketball because some on the coaching staff think "those people" can't say no to that sort of thing, and most fans think its " not that big of deal " is pretty disgusting and very UofL.
