-Yep. I wanted, literally, "classic" clips from years gone by. Not a clip of Kevin Knox from THIS WEEK'S summer league game. Their opinions put it over the top.
-I miss the old Nike/ABCD Camp. I realize the Peach Jam, AAU, etc. have replaced the traditional camps, but I always looked forward to Bob Gibbons' reports after each day of those camp sessions.
-The Cleveland Indians would be undefeated if games only lasted six innings. Their bullpen couldn't be any worse if it consisted of me, Boat, HUBER, SmokeyPearl, Brudjazz, and TCCat. Gotta make some moves this month. There's no honor in winning the worst division in baseball by seven games, only to get swept in the first round of the playoffs because you can't hold a lead.
-Parents got a new ride. They sat at the dealership for 90 minutes the other day trying to learn all the features, only 10 percent of which they'll actually use. Bless their hearts.

-the alltech school is doing good work.
-many good people in haiti that need our(the usofa's help). Zero infrastructure.
-trump/obama bitching is cute and all...but our system really is miraculous. It is not the norm in the world.
-lambi, goat, plantain, rice,beans,chicken,lobster.
-national police escort through cap hatian was intense, obviously.
-I loathe hyperbole...but the trip was life altering.
-will share more at a schemparty in the fall if anyone wishes.

In the end, this is still a deeply flawed team that's missing too many pieces (starting pitching, outfield)….but they sure are playing well right now.
What will piss me off for years on end is how little we got for our best trade pieces -- Chapman and Cueto in particular.
Chapman = the same guy we got nothing for from the Yankees somehow returned Gleybar Torres from the Cubs. If the Reds got Torres instead of the Yanks, we'd have the best infield in all of MLB.
Cueto = Brandon Finnegan. That's it. Disgusting.
You throw in just one legit arm in there for Cueto, and this team looks fairly promising for 2019. Instead, we're hoping to get as much as we can for Gennett, Harvey, and maybe Iglesias and continue to reload for the future. Oh well.

Turns out that citing Colonel Sanders' use of the N word is not a sound defense of one's own alleged racial prejudices.
This is one of those situations where the headline is WAY more intense than the actual story. Stupid move, but the way he used it has this story being blown out of proportion.

Boy that sticks and stones adage just really never carried any weight. You’re more likely to lose your job today for saying certain words than if you literally hit someone with a stick or a stone.
Couple good takeaways here for the gang though in that if you get caught with a ***** (or WHORES in this instance), it's probably good strategy to acknowledge your mistake, apologize, and move on in the spirit and hope of forgiveness. Also, just don't use the N word at all, really.
