*I'm the opposite of richie, the football unis bother me more than the basketball...I think it's because a winner can even make a lame uniform tolerable, even remembered fondly. But if you suck, now you just suck and look terrible. Curry's teams looked SEC, until play began at least.

*I recommend Pensacola beach. Not as crowded or commercialized as Destin, still had an old school Florida feel that I enjoyed. Went to the Naval museum, saw the blues fly, drove around Ft. Pickens, did some deep sea fishing. Fit a lot into a week. Detoxing and hitting the gym for a while, I know I put on at least 5 to 7.

*My grandfather, CM, now Ramsey all within 2 months of each other. All fraternity brothers and played for Rupp. Been rough dealing with it. End of an era, but what a damn era it was! Godspeed.

*What's worse, taking you team down a restrictive cave and leading them almost to certain death or leaving receivers uncovered, twice? My last remaining innocence as a UK football fan died with that game. Still enjoy, but with arms crossed and a furrowed brow.

What kind of competition are we going to be facing here?

Kansas/Duke caliber, D League caliber, or Mid-Major caliber?

I don't know **** about these teams.

No possible way someone thinks the football uniforms are worse than the basketball. That's not a bad take, just wrong. Holler when Alabama Football dresses up like Lady f*cking Glitersparkles. I defend MB on a lot but the basketball uniforms are unacceptable.

I was ok with the bball unis when I thought the players liked them, even though they are a little too gaudy... even for me.

But now that we constantly hear that the players don't like them, WTF are we still wearing them?

For an alternative look, I like the gray football unis even if it isn't an official school color . But why can't we have something clean and sharp like the throwbacks from a few years back for our basic blue and white uniforms?

I don't want the plain practice jersey look of the Couch era, but throw a couple of shoulder stripes on those bad boys and we are in business. Hell, just copy the Colts.

Ronaldo and I could wear the same suit, and I'm pretty sure he'd look better in it (no homo).

That's how I feel about UK football uniforms. If you put them on Bama's players, they'd instantly look a hell of a lot better.

One thing wrong with the football jerseys: The KENTUCKY is scrunched up, takes up very little space. As if it's bashful and we're embarrassed to really SAY who we are.

I'd prefer it not be there whatsoever - but if you're going to slap it on there, don't make it all tiny and timid, and in some Old West, Ponderosa-looking font.

That was the beauty of the power-K: it was broad and took up a lot of horizontal space. As if to say, F you, deal with it.

Updated "throwbacks" would be best for both the basketball and football teams, obviously.

The basketball unis are a bigger deal, not just because we actually have good history in basketball, but because, even if stupid, football recruits love dress up time in all kinds of crazy *** uniforms. We have actual examples of kids picking schools because of uniforms and branding. Basketball players simply don't give an ish. So, there's no excuse to not have classic, clean basketball uniforms.

Also, eff MilqueToast

Anyone else have to unfollow the Classic KY Clips Twitter yet? What started out as an awesome idea quickly fizzled once the dweebs running it thought that people would enjoy their personal commentary and memes.

Sell your boat and your Porsche. It will be worth it.

(I have no idea who Calvin Harris is. Former Cowboys wide receiver?)

This is as cliche and bogus as any cliche statements I hear.

Sure if you aren’t motivated to keep your **** valuable and have no intention of using it consistently then by all means this isn’t for you.

For me though it’s f’ing hot and after I get off work every day I don’t want to spend time hunting down a friend that doesn’t mind me coming over with my wife and 3 kids to terrorize their ****.

Not to mention come Friday being able to hitch up and head out to the lake for a weekend 2-3 times a month to give my kids great childhood summer memories for maybe 15-30K over 5–10 years.

Seems worth it to me.

Those are valid points. I hope you, the lass, and the kids enjoy them for all they are worth. Enjoy coming home after an 8 hour load and sweeping, skimming, and checking the chemical levels EVERY SINGLE DAY. Not to mention when the sand in the filter needs to be changed, or a line is clogged, or when you forgot to back flush the system an your water is green. Especially when the weather is like it is now. But seriously, good for you. Enjoy!

Have never owned a pool, but have been a pool manager and a seasoned hot tub afficiando...know your chemicals, or hire a service and enjoy.

As for the boats, well my first one was amazing. The best days were far and in between the buy and sell days. Best days of my life. Round two, where I doubled down on the CRUISER, has been mostly awesome. Short of the damn ice caving in the dock, and six months in the shop, it’s been great. Yes lots of work and prep, cleaning off all the damn spider **** weekly, but it’s a labor of love. Not many things are as enjoyable as that first cold domesto while floating in the lake with family and friends.

It’s a commitment to a lifestyle. If you choose this path, go all in, or else you’re wasting your money.

But it’s awesome.

Apparently there is a “hot tub doctor” in Richmond. This guy staples his signs to light poles around town. Literally says “Hot Tub Doctor” with a little Christian fish symbol and his number. A real hot tub doctor. Can you believe that?

Man, look at those badass mercenaries with fn SHIN GUARDS. Both of those dudes balled so hard they needed shin protection. MKG and TJ (for the most part) ate fn glass and kicked *** all over the court.

AND I DONT SEE ANY PINK AND PURPLE SHOES EITHER.

You are 100% correct, go all in and I see the benefits. I, too, have enjoyed a few cold ones on the lake and by the pool....but it is a labor of love and you have to want to do it. If not then it is a real pain in the ***.

It's like getting a new pet. Sure the lass and the kids say they will help take care of it but before you know it you are the one feeding, walking, grooming, and paying for it. And before you know it the old lady isn't even getting in the pool and the kids are leaving floats and towels all over the yard. I've seen it a thousand times

For sure it’s a bummer when you have to dish out a thousand or two on a boat or pool but the rest of the time it’s totally worth it. To be able to walk outside, read a book and hop in the pool a couple times before work is not underrated.

Haha, yeah when the saltwater boat needed cleaning and flushing the motor after EVERY trip, you found out who your friends were.

Lake is not as bad. Now just gotta paint the bottom every 4 years or so... Winterize/dewinterize. Change the oil. $4.29/gallon X 2 motors X 4 mpg. Marina fees. Registration fees and property tax...

Commander of your own ship.

TBH that all sounds about like the type of “chores” I’m looking for just before jumping in and enjoying the pool.

I’d compare it to cutting grass, weedeating and edging then having to landscape each spring and fall.

At least then I’d have a pool to jump into.

I’m looking at a tritoon honestly. Nothing major like your “yacht”. Still up keep though which again is something I’m looking forward to and keeps me from the inside the house stuff I despise.

Tritoons are nice. Have seen some really pimped out ones. Can put some serious power on there.

Find your thing.

What lake you thinking?
