I’ve heard Nick Saban has a similar gathering with Alabama boosters where he shows up the foyer of the coaches building, makes withering eye contact with four random boosters, eats half a Clif bar and then goes back to work.

Maybe the flopping would end if the announcers actually had the F’ing balls to call these guys out.

Englishman gets grazed on the chin, and spends 10 minutes rolling around on the deck acting as if he’d just been knocked out by Mike Tyson. Talking heads insist it should have been a red card. Unreal.

Well to be fair you're listening to the United States announcers, which is similar to saying the NBA announcers in Somalia are bad at picking up flopping

He got a legit head-butt to his chin.

You bet your *** 275 lb LeBron James goes to ground if that **** happens to him in the NBA Finals.

Flopping is a problem, sure. But for the most part, true “flopping” is an exaggeration to what’s actually a foul anyway, so the ref’s hands are tied. ..he has to call the actual foul.

It’d be great if they actually carded the guys who truly flop with zero contact, and that’s getting better with the video review they have now, but guys on the biggest stage are going to do whatever they can to squeeze out any extra edge.

I do appreciate how these soccer dudes aren’t afraid to gang up on a ref, get in his grill, give him the business, and maybe even push him around a little bit after a bad call.

Well done, futbol.

Miss the days when some Pablo Escobar disciple would just walk out on the field and regulate the nonsense.

The ref in this game(or match?) looks like an overwhelmed new kid being ganged up on by the cool kids at school. Poor dude.

Dude.

I completely understand why players flop, but it’s a pathetic, candy ***, indefensible maneuver.

And yet here you are, lobbying on its behalf.

We agree more than disagree.

It is the most frustrating thing to play against in the world, and it’s a terrible look for what was my favorite sport to play.

It’s embarrassing, and I hate it.

It’s just incredibly hard to officiate, because, like I said earlier, most of the flops are simply exaggerations of something that’s truly a foul.

- This tournament is simply unreal.

Am I the only one who thinks the Warriors reign of dominance has been good for the NBA as a product? Following the NBA right now is like watching Game of Thrones or something. Players breaking and forming alliances every year, all in effort to end the Golden State dynasty has made the NBA wildly entertaining, especially among casual viewers.

All I have been hearing from sports media gasbags is how it's "bad for the league" but one could argue the NBA is more popular than it's ever been in part because people want to see how the Warriors will be conquered. Sports don't always have to be fair, to be good.

What kind of creepy weirdo dreams about internet friends?

Do some of you not think before posting?

Was way out in front of hating Carl Anthony, and I’ll gladly die on that mountain. Dude should’ve been a white senator. He played pickle ball with Mitch on the blue courts every Thursday.
