Dan Carlin’s 3part series on the Mongols is the tits.

The Jocko Podcasts on Chesty Puller are amazing war/marine related stories.

“Cleanses” :joy:, what a scam. “So yeah, I’m gonna need $150 to juice some veggies for you and tell you lies about how it cleanses you.... Oh your husband too? I’ll make you a deal, $250 for both of you.”

Meanwhile it took them about 20 minutes to make $250. Women LOVE the idea. Brilliant.

Conflicted. I feel like buying crocs crosses too many lines that I'm not willing to concede just yet. Redneck, old, reaaaaaaally white.

But man, they look comfortable and I hate slipping different shoes on and off to bop around the house.

Suggestions? I'll take back a few of the pumps for legit advice, not yours though wildcatwilliam, yours stays.

If I had to guess most likely posters to wear crocs I'd go:

Showkiller(I've seen him in them)
Chase(because he's secretly in love with TSK and from beaver dam)
Llama
Willy but not in public
Maxpowerr for sure

Rax I think it’s time for you to join the wrestling thread.

Headed to KY lake this weekend. Can’t wait for the drive in showing Incredibles 2 and Solo back to back. Probably check out Patti’s to see what’s up there, and get some Knoth’s BBQ.

Crocs are awesome, but true rednecks/hillbillies go barefoot in KY. So you’d just be old and very white.

As long as you do not get camouflage.

Doc Rivers is no longer in charge in LA so they traded Austin Rivers. The best part is it clears room for a UK point guard, and sends him to Washington to back up a UK point guard.

Nice!

Don't know how you guys that are "political" do it. So much corruption, misdirection, and **** to wade through makes it completely nauseating.

Wife and I are headed to Seattle and Portland for the 4th, our first trip alone together since we had our 17 month old. Spending two nights in Seattle and then taking a train to Portland for a night. Very excited as I've never been to the Pacific Northwest, nor have I ever ridden a train that wasn't a subway - something very romantic about it to me - wish it was more prevalent this side of the country. Any Seattle or Portland recs? Good sushi recommendations in Seattle?

Oddly enough I just had a heated debate with myself about buying some Keen sandal shoe thingies. In the end, while they look comfortable, I’m just not ready to commit to that life.

Try the croc flip flops. Look like a normal flip flop but feel awesome.

Family vacation in Florida this coming week...need some recs on podcasts, y'all, so daddy can zone out while driving and not have to listen to Ferdinand for 58th straight time.

Second the Dan Carlin Hardcore History rec. the WW1 Blueprint for Armageddon is 20+ hours of nerdy awesomeness.

In other words, it’ll get you to Florida and back.
