I really have a tough time finding enough energy to GAF what foreigners think or feel about American politics and I imagine they're just as indifferent to how we feel about them.

-Member/Guest weekend was a success, complete **** show. First Day, was -1 for 27 holes and we earned 12.5 points out of a possible 30, good for dead last in the 1st flight.

2nd day was more of the same. Ended up +1 on the 54 hole weekend, while getting our brains beat in. Need to take CPG's tutorial a little more seriously next year -- hopefully, @assistbyhawkins can help with that.

-Saturday night's festivities included live music and a pretty legit Beer Fest. 45 beers, 15 breweries had booths: Bell's, Stone, Laguntas, Great Lakes, etc...all the locals as well. Was a huge success, and will continue going forward.

-Really going to miss this World Cup when it's over. Having sports on the moment you walk into work each day is awesome.

I'm sure there's a reason, but having both games on at the same time this week is BS.

This thwarted attempts for teams to manipulate the results by pressuring draws, or doctoring their goal differential to finish higher, lower, or eliminate other teams by their performance.

Can't help to think it's probably done this way so FIFA officials can take bribes during game play and call to the refs to call a penalty on a player.
