Here's what really gets my goat: We just became a track school and then Mitch just lets our coach leave for Texas? GREAT JOB MITCH. Fn loser. We won't even talk about our epic baseball school collapse. We were all in on track and now Sydney is gone plus the coach. Smh.

If I had to do it over again, I'd sell drugs before I turned 18. Make a couple hundred k and stop. Worst case scenario, you get caught, get your hand slapped.
Too bad you only get to keep 60% of that after you pay the tax-man. Solid plan, otherwise.

I mean, offer Nick Saban $15 million/yr and say if you wanna be the GOAT come win a title here like Bear Bryant did.

Nick Saban wouldn't leave Alabama for UK for 50 million a year. Hell, you barely even offered him a pay raise. He makes a little over 11 million a year now.

Let’s talk about how much money it would take to lure Saban to UK and watch this little discussion evolve into “Kentucky thinks they can go after Saban!!!” internet chatter!

* Saban’s peak would be 9-3 here btw

I really like how the state of Kentucky has maybe its best football class in forever in 2019 with some top 250 high 4 star dudes and UK isn’t in the mix with any of them.

YAHZTEE!

But we got our first in-state recruit in 2 years! (a lineman ranked 14th in the state from Nicholasville)

I kind of assumed a lineman ranked just outside 250 from Glasgow was a UK lock and he's committed to Alabama.

Glasgow kid is good. He’s smart (Stanford coaches flew in and visited the school), he works hard, he has good genes, and he could easily add 25-35 pounds of muscle. He’s 6’6, 275 but doesn’t carry 275 like most high school kids. Hes in good shape and just genetically gifted from that standpoint. Great kid with a great personality to boot.

He’s a white kid. . . and has red hair:scream::scream::scream:.

But again, the kid is genetically put together. I’ve tried like hell to get him to play basketball. He’s just an impressive looking kid. Good agility for that size.

The Manual kid that just commited to UofL is a stud. Be fun to watch him punk us for 3-4 years.

-Deleted, but not interested in the redheaded Glasgow kid. Christ, Strokin.

I mean, it’s fine to acknowledge someone is handsome. Nothing wrong with suggesting they get a lot of action.

But when you describe them as sexy, well that sort of puts your desires into the equation.

And when you say you tried to get him to play for your team, is that like “our team?”

NCAA just passed the redshirt rule where you can play up to 4 games without burning a redshirt. Supposed to be used only for injuries or other issues. No doubt the football factories use it to see if a freshman can help them. Hopefully UK follows suit.

Just want to make sure you guys are safe because any stranger that is nice to you is definitely going to kidnap you into a sex trafficking ring again.

Friends who live in Lexington: Last night I was at the Summit with two of my good friends around 9:00pm. As we were getting in my car, we were approached by a woman (a man was also accompanying her) who asked us if we were students. We said yes, and she proceeded to tell us about a bible study group she was involved in. We had heard stories about the sex trafficking scam where a woman uses a “bible study” to get young girls phone numbers & convince them to come to her house, so we knew what was going on. This woman was very persistent in talking to us about it, even though we had said we needed to go. Once we left safely we called The Summit security, the man who answered said he knew what scam we were talking about but it had been months since he’d heard of it happening. The people who approached us were both African American and probably in their mid twenties, dressed very nicely. Please share to let everyone know that it is still happening in Lexington, and to let all women know to be very cautious if someone random approaches you in a public area.

Had two lasses stroll up to the house at 9 pm Sun evening and I'm one of the not answering the door types. I open, they say something that has to do with religion and said cool, have a great night and closed the door.

If you walk up to me with your bible, I'm not going to feel threatened but it's an auto-dismiss. I'm fine with hell.

-Folks better stop trafficking sex workers and start putting their credit cards down at The Summit based upon what I'm hearing.

-Sucks about the Kentucky Center fire. Hopefully they get it back in order soon. That place is an important asset not just for Louisville, but I'd argue the entire state.

-Increasingly pissed off about this Marcus Walker situation. I mean, I understand that there are a ton of kids in the football program and you can't hold all of their hands, but I can't accept that NOBODY knew ANYTHING. And if they didn't, then I've got an even bigger problem. Stoops deserves a whole heap of **** for this and not sure he's getting it.

-An early Happy Father's Day to the actual Dads here. I'm certain that your households don't run without you. Enjoy a cold one.

-Frozen pilsner glasses FTW.

I, for one, could have never seen this coming. A faux, high-end neighborhood development on the outskirts of town with congested traffic??? How could it go wrong?!

Every update that I've seen on our football team has involved - grilling out, boiling crawfish, playing golf, playing wiffle ball, playing basketball, etc etc etc...oh, and the cocaine bust.

Can't run plays. Can't run twitter. Can't do jack squat. But boy do we know how to slang cocaine and have a good ol time.

Any time I've been to the Summit it's been packed but most people are probably like me, eating at the restaurants and walking around for a while but not actually shopping.

A lot of people say raising a dog is harder than raising a kid and I’d have to agree with them. Kids kind of raise themselves but dogs need constant attention. BBdK talk about this all the time.
