Coached soccer for my twin 4 year olds. My girl, pretty dang good...competitive, fast, scored pretty regularly.
My boy, also pretty fast...would beat kids the ball and kick it once so I would quit begging him to get the ball and then just stop. After about 3 games of this I asked him why he doesn’t keep kicking the ball like his sister and try to score. His response, “because soccer is dumb.”
Pretty much sums up the US when it comes to girls/boys soccer in a nutshell.

This actually makes the most sense of everything. He gets to go back to the NBA, coach two of his prize ending generational poverty pupils, and The King to boot. Maybe even win a ring. I’m not smart enough to understand NBA salary cap stuff, but why aren’t the Pelicans a great spot for Lebron? Can they trade Cousins for James? Possibly add another piece?

Golf Channel on Major week is maybe better than the actual tournaments. Nonstop stories, essays, flashbacks, interviews, just awesome stuff.
Ray Floyd last night talking about how he ran around w/ the Playboy scene, dating all sorts of bunnies, etc -- didn't realize he was such a stud off the course.
Great story w/ Rocco, too. Most people forget Tiger was 1 down & had to make another birdie on 18 on Monday to extend as well.

Well, at this rate he might make a good kicker.
I really need to put some major father pressure on him to make up for my failures as an athlete. Get him in the gym next year, sign him up for year around travel ball. Humiliate him in front of his peers when he fails and tell him it’s for his own good.
Feel like I owe it to my only son.
No matter what you do he'll be done with the sport around age 17 (likely sooner, but he'll feel obligated to play in high school) and be ready for cold beer & tail-chasing sooner rather than later.
If we're being honest, the best thing *long term* you can do for your son is to make sure he's developing some kind of a golf swing and that he also has a basic understanding of the gym.

Boys started football conditioning last night. Been doing agility ladder drills for a couple weeks. Mashing and smashing in the Rax household.
They will have CTE in 2 weeks per PTI
I would estimate no less than 75% of our stupid *** team is on cocaine. At the very least. Probably a lot of good pills and bath saltz, deer antler, etc.

I'm actually impressed with how much money Walker was found with. Seems like he is an enterprising young man. Poor judgement on posting pictures showing his car and bankroll, but young guys make mistakes.
Pretty obvious Stoops cheats his *** off and has zero control of his players. Not a surprise since (a) he's a moron and (b) he has to target guys that are very athletic but mostly dummies (otherwise legitimate football schools would get them).
We basically asked for this. Cheat but don't get caught. Get the most athletic players we can. See what happens.

I just hope he's been playing the hell out of Madden this summer so he can improve his clock management skills.

Stoops has yet to take a step back in the record books (he has won the same or more each year), but I'd be lying if I said it would hurt my feelings to see him go. Ideally, he stays and he succeeds beyond our wildest dreams. But I don't have a lot of confidence in that happening at this point.
A huge drug scandal would be terrible PR, tho. Although it may help entice Leach. That toucher has to be on something.
Good luck finding someone willing to take a 5 year guaranteed contract of $4.0M per to coach here. That guy doesn't exist.
