Lifted some heavy boxes this weekend which made my back feel a little weird yesterday. Picked up my wife’s mountain bike this morning because the wheel locked up on it. If someone pressed on the small of my back right now, I’d tell everything I knew on everyone. And if I didn’t know something, I’d make it up. Back pain is a different kind of animal.

Do what you want Strokin. All of those things listed above can be helpful. If you’re feeling miserable a little medicine can help. All doctors aren’t out to get you.

But if you start to develop weakness, neurological deficits, or loss of bladder or bowel control, seek immediate treatment.

neurological deficits

I am starting a new project in St Louis today. Debated driving from Louisville, but found a direct from Cincy. Plus I may have to fly to Michigan at the end of the week, so no guarantee of return.

Got up early and made it to the Cincy airport at 7:30 AM for my supposed 8:30 AM flight. Looked on the board for my gate, no flight to STL until noon. What? Oh, I see, I booked the 8:30 PM flight (and the noon is oversold).

Does doing something like that count as a neurological deficit?

Sunday day drinking is vastly underrated. Get a nice buzz going right to that sleepy point, knock out early get a good night sleep to start the week. Just have to toe the line and not go overboard, that starts the week out ishty.

$100 says nobody can make a valid argument AGAINST legalizing sports gambling at KY racetracks now that the SCOTUS has given states the green light.

“OTB- feat. human sports!”

At least I’ll be able to spend NCAA tourney weekend across the river making bets at a casino.

Sorry, landlocked parts of the state.

Isn't Bevin the only one that can call a special session? Because that's what it's going to take to get it going before next year.

Yup, one of the few states that actually have the facilities setup for this exact thing and it'll be 10 years before we have to stop driving to WV, In and Ohio.

100% chance the following will happen......

- you'll see significant delays on getting this up and running in the commonwealth, as the state will fall years and years behind its neighbors in jumping aboard this opportunity
- widespread cronyism and corruption.
- the tax revenue will be used to fund some specific special interest (like the lottery paying for college scholarships)

This is all how government works. You only get one chance at exploiting a good thing, after all.

Let's be clear, while horse racing facilities are set up to start gaming, any entity should be allowed to have a license for gaming, not just a select few. Why should horse racing benefit just because their profits are falling?

Typically asking a question implies you don't know. Care to inform us of the actual circumstances or does it stay super secret?

-nice lil hike in the clifty wilderness saturday. It's like prozac for me, guys. Makes everything better.

-a cautionary tale: segunda has a part in a musical that happens this weekend. Rehearsal every day beginning last week. 6-7 hour sessions this past sat and sun. Combined with basketball, rec soccer and school...the kid is gassed. Mrs rudd1 has worked out a rather impressive carpool scheme with some neighborhood hens (including gyero's favorite local celebrity) so I really don't have to do much...tedious nonetheless. Do not reccomend.

-mothers day= plants for the wife. Some sort of perennial geranium...which is awesome cause spending money on annuals is ********.

-lily of the valley we planted last year is coming in nicely. Second only to bleeding heart as my favorite shade tolerant flower.

Regardless, I am not going to be downing frosties at Red Mile on a CBB Saturday. Whatever our backward state decides today is still an undoubted victory for the online sports gambler.

OTOH the World Equestrian Games brought in a half billion dollars and created newfound enthusiasm for the equine sports so we’re good.

Shew, the Turf Club at Churchill or Sports Bar at Keeneland on Thurs/Friday of March Madness could be bonkers.
