Looking at the Nike Hoops Summit roster. How did Cal coach some of these elite guys and not get one of the big dogs. Still don't get it.

Is feta even cheese? More like tonsil stones IMO.

Jealous of PTI even with the stalking.

Congrats on the exemption of the estate tax Anth. Impressive.

Not for me but for my parents who quit high school to start working and raise a family while taking a huge risk at the ages of 23/20 to buy a small business, I'd say it is impressive. Why this country is great despite the attempt at double taxation.

Interpreted: get pumped, Uncle Sam.

So people who contract out their own house do not like to be told “this is why a lot of people pay for a builder”

-Never understood the people who take a picture of something really pretty but want their face front and center. Everyone that is looking at that pic already knows what you look like.

-The anth pop shots always crack me up. I know they’re in jest and come from his friends but the whole “Haha, your family has done well in business...loser” is silly. It’s like when kids make fun of other kids in school for doing well on a test.

I mean, it’s not like Anth borrowed a million bucks from his pops and grew it into billions. But congrats on the family success and tax breaks.

So some Louisville man just got reprimanded by the Southwest agent for putting his keys onto a caribiner attached to the bag he was checking...:joy: What could go wrong.

I know it’s a constant back and forth between the River cities for superiority, but it’s settled for me. Louisville has no airport lounge for the elite traveler...even Lexington has one of those. Just awful. Embarrassing really. :airplane::100points:

At some point prior owners of my home planted a patch of zoysia grass in the middle of the front yard. I power seeded in the fall with a nice tall fescue blend, hoping it would take over. But doesn’t look like it will.

Options now are the “nuclear option” (Roundup everything and start over with a consistent strain), or have a janky *** mongrel front lawn that causes smug snickers and whispers amongst my neighbors.

ALTERNATIVE: Burn the whole ********* down and take off for the Clifty Wilderness with a libertine woman and an AR-15 to grow cannabis and psilocybin mushrooms.

B/W Game is fun. It *REEEEAALLLLLLLY* needs to start at 7 or 7:30 though. It is a tough sell for most people to get home from work, sort out the kids/pets, and then get back to Commonwealth at 6:30 on a Friday night for a scrimmage.

It didn't help that there were no police and it didn't seem like they made students park off campus.

Still, all in all, a great experience.

* Touchdown Terry is easily the quarterback. Any talk of a competition is complete Ginger ********.

* Walker Wood looked surprisingly good going against the scrubs. His touch was off but he looked nifty. He has the look of a poor man's future Patriots receiver.

* Didn't even know there was a Zach Johnson on the team, but he looked pretty good running the ball.

Bol Bol going to Oregon, what a waste. Dude would have been on the AD catch lobs and block all the shots...shoot the occasional whatever because you have earned it top 3 pick super star plan here.

man that dude at the end of the table leading that conference sure is an enormous dick. Looks like he probably thinks he's smarter than he really is and I'd bet that old 75 year old fat **** that asked him how he shaves without cutting his throat would kick his ***.

Bingo. I couldn't figure out wtf was up with the 6:30 start. Crowd was still streaming in droves at 7 pm, when we got there.

Hope the logic was not some BS that higher concessions would help offset the cost of the free game, since nobody would have time to eat dinner beforehand.

Sounds crazy but what other reason is there for starting a Friday night scrimmage at 6:30?

Believe they were trying to wrap it up by 8:30 for families. Solid crowd.

-Rose locks like he can contribute. Good, because Benny needs help.

-Offense has Conrad, Baker, Bowden, Snell and Wilson. Those are elite talents.

-QB is hard to decide but I'd roll with Terry b/c he dual threat and the arm seems a toss up.

-BatCats. Nice comeback. 3 in the 9th, closer goes 3, couple in the 11th.

-Herro.

--Keeneland today was fantastic. The weather was as good as it gets. Tanned, drunken sloots wearing sundresses as far as the eye could see. Hope the rest of you upper-class schmucks made it out.

--As for the USPS, the vast majority of its losses in recent years resulted from a 2006 law requiring them to pre-fund the healthcare costs of future pensioners to the tune of $5 billion a year for ten years. No other government agency or private company does this. That expense alone accounts for $50 billion of the $65.1 billion in USPS losses since 2007.

More important, the postal service is envisioned by the Constitution and provides a public good, like education, so it's not a business trying to make a profit. And that's okay. Not everything should be profit-driven.

--I loathe GYERO politics. Everyone is hyper-sensitive these days with the pension issue, Trump, Bevin, etc., so I guess it makes sense that it's spilled over to some extent. But this place hasn't ever been about politics, and I don't want to be a part of it degenerating into that.

Here's to hoping we can all leave the talking points at the door and go back to the good ol' days of blatant personal attacks, irrational emotional outbursts, and defending to the death sometimes awful takes about entirely inconsequential topics.

That's the GYERO I know and love.

- Gym then taking my FIL out for lunch while the girls have a wedding shower.

Went to Jeff Ruby's last night for wife's bday. Appetizers, ambience, service was second to none. Actual steak was meh, got the bone in filet and wife got the filet Diane and we were both a little underwhelmed, but still a great night. Asked server if this was one of first franchises outside of Cincy - he said no there is one in Nashville, Indy, some other major town, and then opening one up in Lexington soon. Definitely a major score for lex.

The OSU spring game is today - get to start the 8 month cycle of buckeye talk here in town [eyeroll]

Trying to get into NHL since only sport here - but just can't get myself to give a **** about hockey - I'm too old to add sports to be interested in. Going to games is fun though
