Who is the world's best Hispanic basketball player? Pau Gasol? Ginobli's corpse? Does Karl Anthony-Towns count?

E-sports aren’t sports period. It’s stupid. And I used to have a top 500 or something ranking in Street Fighter 2 on Xbox Live and have had an on again/off again Warcraft habit for a decade. Even dabbled in Overwatch. I was doing jack and **** athletically. That’s what you do to relax after a workout or run. It’s stupid. Dumbest crap ever. I can’t believe it’s on TBS or TNT sometimes. Who watches that?

I will admit more fights with the wife over Mario Kart than anything. Holy hell. And let’s not talk about Dr Mario.

Marc Gasol probably if you’re throwing Spaniards in there. The best Hispanic player is probably playing baseball.

UL would say all time it was Francisco Garcia.

Edit: apparently most places count Al Horford as Hispanic. I mean he is Dominican. So there you go.

Glad to see the basketball trip to the Bahamas is coming together. Great event to build a team AND let fans know exactly where they *belong*.

*Headed to STL today for a 3 day trip with two other families. Lord how I dread the drive. It's difficult to find a worse 4 hour drive.

*Supposed to be going to opening night at the Cardinals but it appears the others don't want to spend $50+ on a ticket. Not going to say I told them the 1st game of the season would be expensive....but....I totally told them.

*Imos tonight. Can't wait to burp toasted Ravioli deep into the night.

*looking forward to the Bud tour, tho.

-Bet you could scalp some standing room tickets and saddle up at the right field Bud Light Bar. If not The Village during opening day would be fun, cool place.

-Masters Coverage on my screen right now. Pretty amazing stuff.

-Finau's ankle :weary: One of the real wtf injuries. Set to play his first Masters.

Yesterday morning, I was irate when the city decided to tear down the beautiful cherry trees in front of our house and along our block because one neighbor bitched about the sidewalk being a tripping hazard. Emailed the mayor and other councilmen.

An hour later, I find out my buddy’s four year old has been diagnosed with Leukemia.

Perspective certainly wakes you up to what a spoiled ******* you are.

* Heading home this weekend for a random visit. Running the Papa John's 10-miler, and the low is going to be 24 degrees, with up to 4 inches of snow.

You fats are happy.

* The Lords of Augusta can make that entire spectacle completely insufferable, but watching Jack Nicklaus' grandson pick up his first ever ace yesterday......good god, man.

Dude gets a hole in one, then turns around and gets swarmed in celebration by Jack, Tom Watson, and Gary Player. Throw in countless soundbites and social media posts from Jack insisting it's the highlight of his golf career. Shew wee. and [cheers].

* Who wanna watch the Masters on Friday? Let's pick a wodie patio, sick back with a few collides, and soak up some rays on a patio somewhere. [eyeroll]

* Finally got my taxes done. April 4. Yikes.

* Lexington on Saturday. Maybe go check out that open house on Cooper and throw in an offer.

* What's the best way to make a racy, x-rated international video call with a significant other. Not asking for a friend.

* According to the wedding invitation, wcc's father in law's name is "Alistair."

Dude. That is a freaking BOSS name.

- He’s British. Rocks the double middle name, too. Great guy. You guys will love him.

- The Masters is awesome but acting like it’s some religious experience is rather off putting.

Regards,

A guy who got emotional watching a Youtube hype video about the UK-Ohio State 2011 Tournament game two weeks ago

-Child cancer is just gut wrenching. Leukemia... ugh. They've made amazing strides with treatment but they're in for a hell of a ride. Going to need some serious support. Brutal Brutal stuff.

-B$ sent us a shutterfly "on this date" email. Not sure where we were but skinny ghetto was there and B$ was posing with The Miz. Those were the days.

-F*cking Ursch. I had that Allistar take locked and forgot to put it in my first randos.

-3 days of wedding events, holiday weekend, overnight stays, fancy invites. I'm not hating on it at all, in fact I love it, BUT BBdk is kinda right 2009 WCC would be redass. Only thing that sucks is I'm basically on that whole weekend for work so not going to be able to go all weekend. I'll have to pick my events wisely.

-I see you 70 degree days popping up on the 10 day. Don't let me down. Eyes on the prize.

-International video -> Skype.

I love how you act like I’m getting married Monte Carlo. It’s at a brewery in Cincinnati. We’re eating Eli’s BBQ. It’s not black tie by any means. Sorry about the Sunday set up but it’s a holiday. Locally out-of-town groomsmen get screwed but we gave parents a break by having a day in between. It was Memorial Sunday or f’ing August at this venue and we booked 18 months ago.

My bachelor party is in Lexington- not Vegas or New Orleans.

F off.

 at Mags saying that it took a while for people to guess where their bar will be. It was literally the first place that was guessed here.

Not a "golf guy," but I don't have anything against the Masters, other than this: Timing. It's played when the 7 months that college football/basketball season is furthest away.

It basically takes place on the Monday morning of the offseason.

My favorite thing about e-sports is that every single day there's a story about some "pro" doing or saying something racist. Who knew that people who play video games 23 hours a day could be raging antisocial ********?

A family member (via marriage) has decided to go all-in on being a pro-gamer. He’s 15 and apparently willing to forgo his last few years of high school to make his dream a reality. He makes Hami look downright reasonable.

The timing is perfect, you idiot. College basketball is over, baseball and Keeneland have just begun.

It announces spring to the world of sports. Given the weather in Kentucky right now, watching the azaleas bloom in South Georgia sounds like a gd treat.

15 is still legally the age when your parents can tell you to STFU and go back to school, right?

Technically yes, but if your well-educated folks have a certain laissez faire attitude re: your success in life (i.e., if my son wants to screw up his future so be it), you have a little more flexibility to make poor decisions and ditch school.

Good, normal people get perspective from childhood cancer but not everyone is good and normal. A few years ago, a guy I worked with and had been with the company 20+ years had his 16-year old daughter diagnosed with leukemia so someone was collecting 10+ dollars from everyone(about 25-30 people) so they could put together some sort of girly, get well basket filled with various girly things. This one old ***** refused to contribute because she said her 92- year old mother had a debilitating stroke a few months earlier and no one got her anything.

I’d argue that’s one of its best features. Perfect Segway “away” from our sports season, and a perfect intro into Spring. (usually )

* OK, Mother Nature... you can proceed with the warm temps and sunshine for more than one day in a row now. TIA.

* Good to see Aaron Harrison and Marquis Teague back in the NBA.

* Counting the days until the wcc Last Hurrah I-275 World Tour hits Lexington/Keeneland. Should be a short stacked and classy weekend.

Going to turn in a bunch of expenses to get some unreported (to the wife) income right before the bachelor **** show.

* The new Jack White album is interesting. Got some great stuff on it and some weird **** as well. I dig it, but most on here would not. And that's ok.

* Why does no one want Brandon Phillips? Good clubhouse guy, put up pretty good numbers last year. He can probably be had for a helluva discount right now.

* Anxious to do some real fishing here soon. Helped my little girls and a few nephews catch a bunch of bluegills at my in-laws' pond on Easter.

* Thinking about buying a decent fishing kayak for the Little Miami River.

* Just had my first soft drink since the beginning of Lent. Going to limit it to < 1 Diet Coke per day. Maybe 4 per week.

* While the thought of them coming back makes me happy, I believe Knox and SGA are gone. Diallo and at least one we don't expect, too.

I still like my team.

* I am addicted to mashed cauliflower. Don't @ me. Birds Eye has a good frozen version without a bunch of junk in it.

* I have zero desire to watch one second of the Tour De Anth, but I do have a burning desire to get out on a few long rides myself. C'mon weather.

* Nobody can touch me in a game of Lego Elves/Star Wars/Disney Princess Living Room Battle right now. Pretty much dominating my daughters.

Play with your kids now, folks. Before you know it, they will be leaving for college. Mine are finishing up Kindergarten and 1st Grade already. I can't believe it. Slow it down, please.

* Getting a second estimate on my basement tomorrow. The 1st guy was in line with Wildcat 1973's guess when we discussed it on here. Twice as expensive as I'd like to go.

* Alright, back to work. Have a good one, internet friends.

Just ate a bag of nuts. Pecans are the *worst* and it's not close.

1. Almonds
2. Pistachios (shelled)
3. Peanuts
4. Cashews

692. Pecans

Agree that it's a welcome distraction, and early April is obviously a perfect time for it. Just saying that the very beginning of the 5 month off-season is the worst. When you start seeing those Masters ads on CBS during the Tournament, you know the end is near.
