I'm perfectly fine with our bracket except Arizona, we typically get a Midwest like bracket, maybe this will actually be our year to have some upsets to the higher seeds which never seems to happen with us.

Seriously, we trash talk the PAC because it's trash and Arizona is an internal mess right now. SKJ gonna need to be huge if no Vandy. I think our defense will surprise a lot of these teams and our guards can play against Jerome and Guy. I'm more concerned about round 4 with Tenn than those games, tbh.
Selection Committee spends 80% of its time leading up to the bracket announcement worrying about the GD bubble teams (or last four in) rather than focusing on properly seeding the field. FFS.
The Davidson win knocked out Notre Dame. Syracuse was the last team in. Wrap your mind around that one.

I don't know jack **** about Arizona other than Ayton is better than anyone we have and alkins is an extremely athletic wing but I'm still pissed we have to play them tbh imo

UVA winning ACC tournament factored in, our win today over #3 seed UT obviously meant nothing. ********, and I don't care how bad we looked last month. To lock us in as a #5 you basically have to completely ignore the last 8 games.
I'm going to reserve judgment on this bracket until Jay Bilas tells me what to think....

They don't need to create money matchups with the NCAA Tournament because they're going to make the money anyway. The NCAA pays for all 75 or however many of national championships across all three divisions with the money they make from the Tournament, every year. Or if you're going to create money matchups, just say it. Don't insult the audience's intelligence. We want Trae Young in the Tournament and we don't care if he's on the 9th place team in a 10-team league. And we'd love it if he could face Duke in round 2. That doesn't make it right, but it makes it better than using metrics to explain a decision like that, especially when all evidence with the metrics goes against the decision in the first place.

The thing that pisses me off the most (and probably the only thing, honestly) about our bracket is UT being the 3 in our region. It isn’t fair that two of the top three teams in an 8 bid league are set in the same region, IMO.

I’ll take my chances on Cal 100% of the time over a Bennett or Miller coached March team. This may be the year one of those chokers finally breakthrough but their fans should be much more worried than KY fans should be right now.
I thought the same until I saw the Midwest. I’d rather see our path than be in that one.
Or maybe I’m just not a scared of two of the biggest choking teams out there in Arizona and UVA. Cal isn’t losing to Sean Miller.
Miller doesn’t concern me, but the best player in the country does.
I think I'm also excited to play some new teams. We haven't seen Arizona, Davidson, or Virginia. Glad we're not looking at friggin' West Virginia, Kansas, Duke, and UNC for the ninth straight year.
Yeah I’m not so excited to watch 2018 David Robinson play against Nick Richards for the first 6 minutes of that game (assuming it happens).

Louisville fans are ready with the "It's a conspiracy! They screwed the scandal teams!" take. Aside from that being typical martyr-horsesh*t from them, it also implies a level of moral constitution the NCAA has never had. If the NCAA did something like that I would be impressed with their character growth.
