Not bad all things considered- UGA isnt going to let this be a good basketball game to watch anyway. We knew rebounding would be tougher with no Vanderbilt- so one thing we could do is to not immediately throw it away when we do get some boards.

Lemme spell it out for you.

1. Food poisoning is a colloquialism, not a proper medical term I would expect a doctor to use.

2. Most cases of "food poisoning" in the US are viral, but some are bacterial.

3. Whether it was viral or bacterial, there is an incubation period of several hours to even a few days between exposure and development of symptoms.

4. Because of #3, the good doctor would be sick later TODAY, or even TOMORROW, if he got "food poisoning" from a visit to a restaurant last night.

5. Because of #3, there is no way to know that he got the "food poisoning" from the restaurant last night, unless he called in the CDC and they've already wrapped up an investigation.

6. He could have just as easily gotten it from the night before, or yesterday's breakfast or lunch. It's common for people to attribute "food poisoning" to the last meal they ate before the onset of sickness, but that's often (usually?) incorrect because of the aforementioned incubation period. Doctors should know this.

7. Viral gastroenteritis is highly contagious, and the virus can survive on surfaces for many days. Therefore he/we can't even know that he got it from a restaurant at all. He could have gotten it from his hotel room, or from a handshake, or from no telling where - maybe even from his hot tub.
