-Venderbilt is the catalyst but don't take credit from the other guys growing up.
*Green and Knox are playing D.
*Washington picking his spots, passing and getting fouled.
*Shai passing and moving without the ball.

-If you're missing shots against us, good luck.

-For all the heat Rupp took this season, it's been great the last 3 games. Wonder why? Most knowledgeable fan base in CBB and if they see a **** product on the floor they're not going to fan girl out and cheer bc OMG ESPN is in town. Give them just a little hope with some quality basketball and effort.

-That said, still don't think it's been at capacity all season. Maybe Florida but even UL had a few uppers open. First time I can remember that happening and don't see it changing. They need to reduce capacity up there and make it more comfortable for everyone.

-Caught most of the Bat Cats yesterday. Little man loves it. Embarrassing over the 9 seasons I've been there I haven't attended more games.

-Sounds like the SECT crew is coming back together. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Imo's. :eyes:

-2 more days left in the worst month of the year. Then March, which is hit and miss, but one step closer to real spring and summer.

-Hope everyone made it through the floods ok. Looked pretty nasty in Lou and Cincy.

-I wish I had as much moxie as that chubby little #50 had, nodding his head and bearing down to "defend" Herro.

Also, it's nice to have a white dude on the team that everybody else in America is gonna hate, for once. I normally would grimace at the kid jawing with the opposing student section like that, but they all chose to wear Wisky gear, when it's clearly not their school colors, just to mess with him. So more power to him. I doubt he'll be doing the same to the Ole Miss student section.

-Eric Musselman would kill it at Arizona. West Coast guy, turning around the Nevada program, from a pro background. Only a matter of time until he gets a Power Five gig out west. Can't see Mack going that far.

-I can't help but watch Pitt whenever they're on, just to see the train wreck in slow-motion. Couldn't happen to a balder guy.

-One of UK's prime QB targets just announced a commitment to.....Kansas. Does he have a television? Internet? Newspaper? Good grief.

-Honeywood in the Summit's a great meal. Between that place, Wallace Station, Windy Corner, I've never had a bad meal at a Ouita Michel place.

I'm not high on Stoops or anything, but kid's gotta be a KU superfan. Hell, if 18-year old Wayne Dougan was a top recruit with offers at all the top programs, I would have gone to UK to play basketball even if Billy G had a lifelong, guaranteed contract and told me during the recruiting process my feet would be bleeding through my shoes weekly.

Anyone interested in a good old-fashioned **** talking biggest loser GYERO comp? Or is everyone already the best version of themselves? Went to the doc for my yearly physical this morning and realized I'm 216 pounds ([laughing])
([sick])

My wet dream goal is to be 180 by the Eli.

(just ate a sausage biscuit)

My almost 8 year old son stuck a glue trap on the guest bedroom wall yesterday for no apparent reason so all of you guys whining about flooding need to quit being so smug.

* I say that respectfully, assuming no one on here is having to climb to the roof of their home to await air evacuation(?)

-Encouraged & definitely some renewed excitement about the Cats, and some of the adjustments being made. Still, put me down as cautiously optimistic.

-Claims out the ***, but not a lot of coverage. Sucks having to tell people they aren't covered on a homeowner's policy when their yard floods or home is invaded with ground water, as most assume it is. What a disaster. :(

-Jay Bilas on Patrick talking about 'free market' for CBB players. Eh, I'm all for wholesale changes, but I'm not sure about all that. DP posed a scenario where Boone Pickens offered 5 million dollars for a Marvin Bagley type, and Bilas is "absolutely" for it b/c "anyone else in the university gets paid what they are worth to that university". I'm not ready to go there.

-Nice week for Tiger, despite some stumbles. 3 tournaments in, being actually HEALTHY...he was #1 in swing speed, #2 in driving distance...and most importantly #1 in proximity for the week. Those are some pretty amazing stats when you look at where he was on his past futile comeback attempts.

JT is ridiculous, but he's developing quite a bit of negative talk w/ fans & some around the game. Should probably reel it in just a little bit.

-On a heater w/ the gambol. If we can get a large crew of 10 or so, I'm down to run the Madness #CueItUp package again.

-Actually feels weird seeing the sun blaring down, but I'm all for it. :sunglasses:

Chase isn't 5'11. Good grief.
:joy:

This isn't the first time you've said that, and it cracks me up every time, as if there is some pride in being 5'11. If I was going to lie about my height, wouldn't I just round it up to 6'0? I understand that when you're 5'3 and built like a tree stump it's difficult to judge any heights over 5'7, but 5'11 is not tall, and in no circumstances would I ever claim it was.

Bilas is a psycho that refuses to engage in any discussion that in any way is a rebuttal to his opinion. College sports isnt as black and white as he thinks it is. Most of it operates in a grey area. And compensating players, which there is a strong argument in favor of- will also create some other issues going forward to. So just stripping the system down and awarding players to the school with the wealthiest alumni probably isnt gonna work.

I'm more for just opening the flood gates to paying players rather than keeping the same system but it needs to be gradual.

Off the court:
1. Allow agents, and just like the NBA they must register and are monitored. Regulate them, not the students.
2. Schools offer scholarships, meals, board, etc.
3. Allowed to sell imaging rights. Autographs, commercials, etc.
4. Eliminate current coaching/training time restrictions.

On the court:
1. 4 Qtrs
2. Jump ball

You may have a few outliers but like any market they'll correct themselves. The guys that start those tours right after the season aren't getting millions.

Because you're not 6'0 or 5'11.

I'm 5'8 in the program, nowhere near 216, and can whip your *** very easily Chase.

Chase, I'd be happy to kick your *** in some sort of weight loss challenge as long as Anth doesn't try to get involved somehow.

Yeah, its time to do something. But, PTI (pti), I don't think the Catch VD & run 900 miles a week plan is for me anymore.

5'10 253

Weight is nearly an all-time high. Waist is breaking records every single day.

Working 12-16 hours a day sitting at a desk and having the boss order in pizza or other **** every night isn't the answer.

Under 218 by June is the goal. I'll probably start tomorrow or the next day.

Had a pretty unsettling annual check up a couple weeks ago too... After some blood work I learned that even at 175 pounds and in decent shape doesnt prevent hereditary heart conditions. Have had to make some dietary tweaks, and cut (way) back on some vice consumption and need to call it quits on some otc pain meds I probably abused. Thinking long term, its probably a good thing.

I’m 5’11-3/4” and the first time I EVER claimed 6’-0” was at the UK clinic. The sassy, large nurse, went ahead and measure my height -after she asked it. Then she looked up at me above her cheater glasses and said, “FIVE ELEVEN AND THREE QUARTERS.” Like, “Nice try, Hot Shot.”

LSS: I could dominate an under 6’-0” Basketball League.

Re: Weightloss, Ask me how I’ve lost 1.5 lbs a week since Thanksgiving. Well, I’ll tell you. I stopped eating the Goodfellas lunch special 4-5 days a week. Dropping out a slice of pepperoni, a big-*** breadstick w/nacho cheese, and three Cherry Cokes during the work week can do some things. It’s as easy at that, folks.
