The absolute worst thing you could do is cooperate with the NCAA. You easily have the ability to tell them there's an ongoing FBI investigation and you don't want to do anything at all until it's completely over. Ignore the issue entirely. No statements beyond what's been given. Nothing. Things will die down within a month if nothing else comes out. Then, a couple years later when the federal case(s) are over, deny absolutely everything. If it can't be denied stay 100% silent or plausibly distance yourself from it. Never admit wrongdoing. Never self-impose punishment. This isn't rocket surgery.

If we do otherwise Mitch should be fired immediately.

the game with Brandon Knight where his tech's before halftime basically erased the lead they had (I don't even remember what he was mad about).

They had a foul to give and fouled Knight on purpose around half court and he heaved it toward the basket right before the contact. 3 FTs correctly rewarded.

The Stansburries taste like Stanburries was not happy.

* Hope we don't have to forfeit last season, but we might. (Hard hitting stuff, right there).

* About to roll up to Detroit with my boss to watch the Pistons and Celtics. Smug Seats.

* Starving. May set a record for filet-o-fish consumption shortly.

* OK, that is enough rain. Thank you.

* FRIDAY 5

Trippin' On A Hole In A Paper Heart - STP
Pentecost - Kyle Craft
A View To A Kill - Duran Duran
Old Enough - The Raconteurs
Burning Down The House - Talking Heads

* Anyone comparing the the Bam/Knox/UK deal with Louisville's Shame deserves to be flattened.

* Cats by 11 tomorrow.

* Have a great weekend, GYERO!

Seeing why Billy Donovan and Brad Stevens are probably never going to return to college basketball.

I'm not saying we are clean...but even trying to be clean, you recruit 5 star players usually from poor families who are going to be multimillionaires in a year or less, stuff is going down whether you know about it or not. You can button that top button every morning and talk about compliance until you are blue in the face, but if cutting a backroom deal gets athlete X's mom out of her situation sooner than later, then it will happen.

They should essentially turn college sports into quasi-sports academies. Kids go their to "major" in their sport. They get paid for their likeness and the school foots the bill for their training and academics (but the NCAA shouldn't involve itself in academics at all). Either the NCAA is going to evolve or collapse upon itself.

At the very least looks like the rival writers are generating some click bait. Don't blame them but I take their "agent inside info" as seriously as Chiefs and will pay the same for it.

There is not a thing the NCAA can immediately do at this point and we should act accordingly and win some ballgames. jmho.

Our AD might be a Bible thumping doofus, but this is an excellent time to have a coach that is good at cheating. Glad we have Cal. He’s not going to admit **** and most likely covered his tracks well. No chance he did stupid **** like Pitino and personally arranged payments.

We essentially signed a kid who another program was trying to buy...just like St. Jay Wright and Aww Shucks Roy Williams just did in the last few months (Quinerly and Little).

Drunkenly watching “freestyles” on The Booth might be the first YouTube rabbit hole for me.

"I had lost papers on a plane and I have been looking for them for some time. If I would have known how important those papers were I would have held on to them more tightly," Smith said. "Somebody must have realized what was in the papers and sent them back to us. If you travel as much as I do you can sometimes loose papers when you travel. [Kentucky compliance director] Sandy Bell told me if I could find those papers that it would really help. I went back found them last week. Thank God I found the papers and we were able to work things out."

lulz... good lord.

JFC...I'm not sure if you combined all of the Bitcoin computing power and multiplied it by 10 that there's enough processing power to compute how many heads will pop if not a GD thing happens to UK from this but does to others.

I bet Cal would be fun to deal with during an internal investigation. Mitch all Daniel Caffey asking Col. Jessup for the transfer log papers.

-pet peave: earlier today MJ referred to MSU situation as "sexual stuff". Rape isnt sex.
Look, I may be a loose cannon, but I get results. And if I learned anything during my cup of coffee in the big Apple, it was that:

In the criminal justice system, sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous. In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. ...These are their stories.

LSS: You are wrong.

A little circumstantial evidence in support of the Beisner theory: is it possible that the Bam influencer was his AAU coach or someone affiliated with his AAU team, given that he was on the same AAU team as another one of the players who allegedly received a huge loan, Dennis Smith?

Of course it could also be that the AAU coach or someone else with the AAU team connected Bam and Smith with the agent.

Could it be that Coach-2’s heavy-handed defense team leaked the FBI docs to Forde/Thamel? Not like there’s a pattern or anything [eyeroll].

Conspicuously holding a bizarre presser between two major bombshells, Pitino had the mic (again) at the epicenter of the storm.

Chester, on KSR this morning, floated the same theory. Must be something to it if it's being floated here too
