Sounds BJW to say OMG WE SHOULD PRESS (throw it deep Jared!!)...

...but we clearly play our best when desperate or getting blown out. Our system wastes what we DO have, which is a bunch of athletes. PJ, Diallo, Vando, etc...basically invisible out there more times than not, especially in the half court.

It’s not THE solution, but it would be a start/change from this ********.

Jmo. Go Cats!
We just have no good options in the half court other than Shai trying to get to the rim.

Quade can’t get by anyone and is just a good shooter when set. When is the last time Knox broke someone down and scored one on one? All his drives come off of rotation close outs where he can straight line drive or pull up. Hami dribbles like he started basketball last year...and shoots like he started this year. We have no post up threat. PJ has been killed by scouting because he has one move. Vanderbilt...pshh, shoot over 30% from 3 feet before teams pay attention to you. Wenyen must be 1 for his last 30 trey attempts.

That’s why you just go full on ugly ball and try to get offense from defense.

Midland, TX is always on Live PD, which is in our district. Biggest fear is having one of my staffers pulled on there.

In-game redass aside, I can take a pass on a year. We've had very few guys leave after a season without playing extremely well, so I can talk myself into most of these guys coming back.

But for the love of god, if we get matched up with UC or Xavier in the one year they manage to have a better teams than Kentucky, I'm going to find a bridge.

Doesn’t matter. UK is only winning maybe 2 more games in the regular season then getting bounced after 1 win (I hope they get 1) in th SEC tourney.

They are NIT bound.

I’d build up a great deal of false hope if that was our bracket.

Aside from the Nerlens Noel season our other two most frustrating seasons were the Brandon Knight year and Julius Randle. Both of those teams when asked what got them going at tournament time were more than open that it was Cal taking off the handcuffs.

That has me holding on at this point, and nothing else.

I get a that part. Not sure about the top 4 from each region being guaranteed anything.
If the tournament started tomorrow those would be the top 4 in each region. It will change next week most likely. The rest were just projections.

I’ll meet you on that bridge.

I think we'll make the tournament, but I don't think Louisville will. I looked at their schedule, and they may only be a favorite in one more regular season game. They're gonna wind up with 12-14 losses unless they pull a few upsets.

The “Kentucky Effect” mantra makes this worse. They think if they are not one and done they’re a failure.

If Cal was out there talking about how this is a bridge year and how he can't wait to see these guys blossom after a year in the program, that would fix a **** ton of ****.

Saw 15:17 to Paris today. I liked it. Was interesting having the actual people play themselves in the movie (sans the terrorist). Granted the acting wasn’t great, but a really inspiring story.
Say what you want about terorrists, but going with the singular name, “Sans the Terrorist,” is a huge power move for any profession.

He’s the “Cedric the Entertainer” of terrorism, this guy. Man.

- Some of the flooding footage from Eastern Kentucky is unbelievable.

- Fell down a YouTube wormhole today of kids asking their guardians to adopt them and people hearing for the first time. Waterworks.

- Local Feed in Georgetown is really good. Hadn't heard much about it but for a non-foodie it did comfort food right.

Would it?

I know that’s what I want out of my coach, tossing in the towel before the season is over.
Id say the majority of coaches actually expect guys to come back so I doubt that’s such a terrible thing.

20% on Rotten Tomatoes
I definitely always go to rotten tomatoes before I go see a movie because the type of people that rate things on a random website is right up my alley. Love those types.
