So UL is in some real financial ****

Private donations down 75% in 2 years.... i'm not an economist, but that doesnt seem good. Depending on how hard the pending sanctions hit, combined with another couple years of cuts to higher ed funding- that place is on a quick pace to end up fighting Spalding for students.

So basically back to being a mid level commuter school.

But with a nice new soccer complex for everyone!
And the pizza king is taking more shots at the stadium expansion.

Schnatter added that university’s spending more than $55 million to expand Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium – the football stadium named after his company – doesn’t help faculty and staff morale.

In fact, he said, spending money on a stadium instead of faculty pay breeds “animosity.”

It's been a dream of mine that the project would fall through and they would be stuck with stairways to heaven in the end zone. Fingers crossed.

That football stadium is going to be a monument to hubris if there ever was one. Basically UL's Thompson-Boling Arena.
UL's Magic Bus

At least UT is a well established flagship university with a century of conference stability. UT building Thompson-Boling is like Vince McMahon with the XFL. Stupid, but ultimately harmless even if it fails.

UL expanding PJS is like a dentist buying a Ferrari

Basically bankrupt a university, starring down the barrel at multiple NCAA investigations and possible lawsuits, the fanbase divided, and probably go uncharged for multiple felonies in the process...

...leave a multimillionaire and play the victim on the way out. ONLY IN AMERICA!

Out of the blue, but tip o' the hat to the Clown for the Bialetti coffee pot recommendation. Picked one up and love it.

I'd wager that earning power per dollar spent;

A certification from Nashville Diesel >>>> MBA
No doubt. I have some buddies down here that are certified to work on boat engines like Mercs, Yams, Evinrudes, etc and the only thing that slows their earning potential is how much they feel like working. They can work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week if they want for some serious coin or they can work for two weeks and take a month off.

-Really want Cam Johnson to go 4-5 this month.

-At trivia, had no idea Marshall Mathers middle name was Bruce. Pretty sure I don’t like him anymore. #statofthenight

How much better would this team be if Vando had been healthy from the get? You can see the talent there with the kid, he just needs to let the game slow down a little.

Baker would have been nice in games like this. Ice cold, they are daring us to shoot and the basket is getting smaller. Just a stone cold shooter off the bench would be helpful.
