Richards icing four free clutch free throws in a row can't be hyped enough.
Still doesn’t deserve to start or play more than SKJ...buuut, credit the kid for knocking down clutch FT’s and that tip dunk, maybe it will up his confidence because he has moments where you are like “ahh, I get it” but too far in between.

Anyway, tonight is a night for all things positive, not often UK b-ball get a completely OMGwheredidthatcomefrom win. Good times. Knox, I mean, that’s the guy we thought we were getting!

Vando with 11 rebounds in 11 minutes, lol. Dude just straight GRABS anything in his area. Turn and GO, my son.

He's obviously still rushing things offensively when he's in a position to score. Almost like he's handling a hand grenade. Once it finally slows down for him -- and it will... he's going to be unable to take off the floor.

- Great win. *If* Shai got that last layup to fall, we're talking about 'unforgettable' play in UK lore. Just an unbelievable sick *** fake. Of course Bilas didn't mention it. Too busy over talking about the flow of the game.

- Long pour

I'm currently sitting outside my four year-old son's room, listening to him cheer and pretend he's a wildcat. His bedtime was an hour ago. He's non-verbal but those cheers are still unmistakable. He was shooting jumpers on his mini-hoop in front of the TV all game. Proud AF. This is why we do this. #Dadyero

This is the best post I have read on here in a long time. Warms my Wildcat heart.

Probably getting my hopes up, but I think we keep it close tonight. May or may not steal the win, but I think they'll play better than we all expect tonight.

:pimp:

My MIL suffers a bit from dementia that we've been fortunate to help with medication. Sitting here tonight watching the game together, and both of us were fussing and yelling at the TV the whole way. Before she retired for the night, she told me how much she enjoyed watching the game with me. Pretty sweet end to a day that started so ******.

Cheers, GYERO! [cheers]

Our softass freshmen out-boarded rough-and-tumble Press Virginia by 15. Pump. Me. Up.

What a ballgame. What a sight for sore eyes.

Takes a big ol’ sack not to lay down in Morgantown with all those couchburners 4-loko.

Confidence shot for a green squad. I’ll run through a wall for John right now. we

When I was a child, my family would travel
down to western Kentucky where my parents were born.
There's a backwards old town that's often remembered, so my times that my memories are worn.
And daddy, won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County,
down by the Green River where paradise lay?
Well, I'm sorry, my son, but you're too late in asking.
Mister Peabody's coal train just hauled it away.

Well sometimes we'd travel right down the Green River
to the abandoned old prison down by Adrie Hill,
where the air smelled like snakes and we'd shoot with our pistols,
but empty pop bottles was all we would kill.
And daddy, won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County,
down by the Green River where paradise lay?

Over the last few years I have let reading GYERO make me rethink my UK in-game superstitions. The derision of the more, um, logical members of GYERO slowly eroded my certainty that my actions could influence the outcome of a game. So I gave them all up.

Tonight I decided before the game that I was going to go all out to try to win this important game:

Lucky Shirt, ancient and threadbare. Check.
Sitting in my lucky chair. Check.
Putting UK kerchiefs on my dogs and putting their beds in front of the TV. Check.
Drinking only Guinness during the game. Check.
Listening to all the pregame shows and only Leach & Pratt during the game. Check.
Never ever ever talking smack, or saying I think a win is a lock. Check.

You are all welcome and yes, I have been emboldened by the Guinness to share this with all my Wildcat friends.

Happy happy, joy joy. Happy happy joy joy. Happy happy joy joy joy!!

F'n A. Just finished the game. What a ride. Down 15 in the first I ff'd 40 minutes. It stopped with 12 minutes remaining and UK had it down to 2. Paused that sumbitch, went to grab a couple cold ones, back to the basement, rewind to start of 2nd half, watch and prosper.

I know WVU is struggling but that's a great win in that environment.

John Denver is full of ****. Well, was.

The juxtaposition of Terie's wholesome, whitewashed rah-rah post and august-west's "I fingered an 8th grader to this song" is what I love about GYERO. Thanks for putting the R in GYERO.

I, too, was in 8th grade so don't make sound like some perverted situation.
