I wore Used Jeans to my first day of high school and man I thought I was hot ****. I think they fell apart the next time they were washed. Oliver Simmons sure pulled them off doh

The authentic white shorts (that I saved for and bought... $90+?) were so dope, but the blues were awful. I recall seeing the print logos falling off the blues with the quickness on the fools in my class who had them. Embroidered FTW. Important lesson for a young man.

-I don't think Crean will go all HOT TAKE any time soon, because unlike the others(Dakich, Seth, etc.), he clearly wants another gig ASAP. But I agree, he was outstanding last night.

-Used to watch tennis like crazy back when I was a kid. Becker, Chang, Agassi, loved all those guys. But grand slams don't even register on my radar anymore, and I know I'm missing out on seeing the GOAT while he's still contending for titles. Doesn't help that the Australian Open is played at 3 a.m. our time.

-How good of a job has Chris Holtmann done? Easily the best thing to ever come out of Nicholasville(which isn't saying much lol). 7-0 in an (admittedly weak) Big Ten, but that includes a 16-point win over Sparty, and the next three are easily winnable games at home. And he's doing it with an NIT-level roster.

-Kentucky vs. WVU is a nice throwback to the days in the mid-80's, when Kentucky would play a random high-profile OOC opponent, often on Super Bowl Sunday. Houston(Olajuwon), Navy(Robinson) were the two from that decade, and then Pitino added Villanova and Syracuse in the same way 10 years later. I'd completely forgotten that in the 92 season, we played EKU and Western during the middle of conference play. That was weird.

Nice having another UKBB historian on here. Get a little- how shall I say, amused- by these Johnny-Comelately “diehards” like BBdK and Geese.

Lost my official (embroidered obvs) white 1996 shorts and my unofficial blue “I NEED A VOLUNTEER (arrow pointing down)” t shirt after my wife and I moved into our first house. She claims ignorance but I still give her the occasional side eye over it, assuming that’ll be one of those death bed confession issues we’ll deal with later.

We can wear pink daisies with a purple paisley background for all I care as long as we’re pulling in the Davis, Cousins, Wall, KAT, type recruits and winning 30+ and going to FFs with a shot at a title.

The best are the 97 uniforms and its not even close. Have those shorts still. Need some patching up tho.

I love what Gabriel brings for the most part but that fake and drive to the basket spin move and tossing up a hook that had zero chance going in during a pretty critical junction had me repeatedly asking "Why?" If you don't have a three just pass it man.

- I will not be buying Kansas in Calcutta this year. Early flame out written all over them.

- Bonobos for slacks.

- At a recent hospital orientation I was told point blank by risk management director: If we have Code Silver (shooter), you hide. Don't be a hero. We need you to be able to take care of the potential victims. This was last Thursday, was a really odd conversation, but I get it.

- Bunch of friends at Vandy took care of quite a few of the victims. They pretty much described the worst scene in the ER/waiting rooms. Horrendous.

- HQ Trivia is way too addicting.

- Signed up for the Nashville Rock N Roll half marathon. Prob should start training. Meh.

- Goat yoga is allllll the rage down here.

- Powerade zero delivers.

- House cleaners, painters, and movers all completely worth the money. Every dime. Coming home to a clean house is just the best.

- Trae Young. Sheeeeeeeesh.

-pti, check out Haspel. NOLA based, American made. #maga.

-these aren't "obscure" brands. Casual stuff is available at j&h/quest/any outdoor store. Logans/Howard&Miller and the like carry the other stuff. I dont think they carry this stuff at Kohls. If one pays attention, they can dress well and spend the same/less than buying cheap chinese **** at the mall.

-like it or not...people (especially those that hold power/sway) pay attention to how others dress.

-i readily confess that i am a dandy...its my jam.

-before one of you dicks question my masculinity...remember I can kick all your asses, and look proper whilst doing so.

If you're strategic, Kohl's will actually pay YOU to take clothes out of the store. I have no idea how that place makes any money.

If you have an iPhone, in the text chain hit info in the top right corner, scroll down to hide alerts, toggle switch. Or better yet, hit "Leave this Conversation". Enjoy.

I'm aware, but all hiding notifications does is silently encourage the behavior.

Leave Convo isn't always available, either.

They pay attention to whether or not you look like a slob and whether you're dressed appropriately for the occasion, they don't care if your wearing corduroy bonobos and moccasins on a day out or whatever the hell it is your talking about wearing. We all have our things though, dressing nicely is a good one to have, no need to try and rationalize it.

I was in 7th grade and got the authentics (Tony Delk 00) for Xmas. Rocked them the first day back which received wide praise except from an 8th grade Chris Grimes. Apparently I had beat him to the punch and he wasn’t happy about it.

rogue, hank, august-west, catsfanbyky - 4 who have really separated themselves.
Says the guy that deleted his FB comment. Pretty sure you got rattled, lost a couple hours sleep while it was still posted.

I have real issues with the way Rudd dresses, and even more with his general disposition. He keeps it up, he’s going to find out one day just how big of issue I have with it.

Is that a threat? I don’t know. Maybe.

If the Board on Family Feud has more than 6 answers, just pass to the other team. That’s my humble advice. #ExcitingWednesday

-I hope Cal pushes for the baseball rule in basketball. He has talked about it the past few years and it’s clear why at this point on recruiting.

-SGA to the bench makes a lot of sense.

- Granted it was just USC and without Quade, but JV and Diallo played pretty damn good together.

- What I hate most about this team is the talent, athletic ability, and versatility is so clear that I can’t just accept they are young and dumb. I still think the group is better than the parts and it will click.

Then we tip off and I hate myself for 32 minutes of every game, but those other 8 minutes man! [banana]

Well it was a game related topic, sorry for including the technologically challenged Adrian. But if it did chap his surgically repaired ***, well that’s just gravy.

Could see Rudd And SAE being related. One is a little older and more hipster.

Going back to a topic from yesterday - the last time I saw Rudd he was slumming it at the Tates Creek Thorntons. Don't recall whether he looked dapper or not.

"Basketball Bennies" still think the McD's AA game is the best HS all-star game.

True college basketballs know that the Hoop Summit is where it's at. I mean, they don't have Timbaland performing at halftime, but otherwise, it's golden.
