This whole justification for Jurich, doing his job well and doing best for UL, is complete ********. He's a public official, his obligation is further than just raping everyone he can to get UL the best athletic gear.

No question Jurich did a lot of great things for UofL. But he abused his power to the benefit of himself and his inner circle. Absolute power corrupts. And he basically had absolute power for almost a 15 year run.

I've been completely against a new arena in Lexington the entire time. An updated Rupp is fine and a fraction of the cost.

What kind of repulsive **** is happening in lexington when UK is leasing a damn basketball arena that is outdated by about 30 years. Just a few miles from their own damn campus mind you, so there is no location argument.

The agreement, outlined in a letter of intent signed this week by LCC and UK officials, will ensure that the Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team plays at Rupp through the 2033 season. The current lease expires at the end of the 2018 season.

Uh...no. Palace is fine if you have excellent seats, otherwise, their lowers are awful once you get halfway back.
