Shew wee. 7 soccer games this weekend between the two kids and that’s for a rec team end of season tournament held like 10 minutes from my house. I don’t know how you travel elite sports balls do that every weekend.

During that 3 straight 3 and out stretch, we tried to pass it 4 times. Why? Line up and keep getting 1st downs. Win the touching game.
* I appreciate the fact that we are 2 plays from being 8-1. Going in to the season I would be happy to be 6-3. Hell, this is a great season by UK standards. But damn, we should be 8-1.
* The defense, man. Isn't that Stoops' specialty? Specifically the secondary? Ugh. Touching joke. But hey, keep dancing when the other team drops a 40-yard pass or you make a ****** tackle after giving up a first down. Idiots.

I keep reminding myself that given the historical ineptitude of the program this year is still a good one regardless of the outcome moving forward. January is by far the worst month of the year. At least February is short. January is cold...Christmas is over...people have New Year's work and workout resolutions so they can GET PUMPED...tax deadlines...terrible basketball slate...etc. Horrible month all around.

Glad you've been running a little. Most efficient exercise for a Dad. Can do it about anytime, anywhere, almost any weather, cheap, easy, quick. 30-45 minutes of cardio 4-5 times a week. Not too shabby.
When running is done like that, it's super healthy.
I'm back running 3-4 miles comfortably with no pain. So right there with ya. Mixing in lifting and the bike to keep it interesting.
